To me its quite the opposite of everyone, im playing it (and enjoying it) because Pals have a "Pokemon'ish" look to them and i love it thats what i didnt like with TemTem, but hey to each their own 😛
I'd rather the big group updates more than single new monsters at a time

I just want more pal fusions from breeding and pals. Mostly fusions tho theres so little and the ones that have em only have one.
I really like the animations they've done. I'm hoping they'll add more ways to interact with our pals.
I read raid bosses as MMO style bosses expecting multiple high level players. Personally I’m hoping they avoid anything that requires group content.
Pal Arena sounds neat. Would be cool if it’s AI battles where you could bet on them or something. I really enjoyed that in DQ8. A few of the Digimon games have done that too.
Biggest things I’m looking for are AI, pathing and building improvements. There is a lot of jank and room for QoL features that, while expected from an early access title, will hopefully get attention sooner than later.
It’s unfortunate that “among other things” probably includes the death threats and calls for lawsuits that have been thrown their way. I don’t envy them for that.
I formally request that we keep the current version of the AI where they clip into a wall and get stuck as an option

It would be so cool if we got some kind of way to possess a pal and control them directly for world exploration or pvp fights. I could see that being a very fun feature to play around with.
I’m so glad they made this game. Quality is only challenged when there’s competition. And pokemon games are severely lacking in quality.
The construction system needs some major improvments. Some sort of snapping to other things, more consistent placment rules, not colliding with mobile objects (loot, pals) when building… There is probably more, but I can't think of it right now.
Possibly the best worst game I’ve ever played.
I'm hoping for snake, Crustacean and bug pals outside of moths, butterflies and bees.
I've lowkey been playing the combat akin to Spectrobes Origins from the Wii HAHA
The entire left half of the element triangle is actually akin to the Spectrobes one (Fire -> Grass -> Earth -> Electric -> Water -> Fire), and you can recall your mon instantly to avoid having them take damage. The skill expression in this game feels very cohesive once you perfect synergy between yourself and your mons
They need a priority system/menu. Would fix having to pick up and throw your pals at stuff.
Maybe the people saying they will abandon the game can shut up now
To me the game feels like if the pokemon team of gen 1 – 5 made a legends arceus but with loads of QOL extras and added stuff ppl wanted.
I have always wanted to ride my pets (pokemon, digimon, monsters, etc…) and have them help rather than sit in the pc. Even help traverse areas that before were inaccesible.
To see more content planned is exciting! Granted it's still early access but to me it feels like a full release so far.

My critical issue is that some areas on the map will disappear and if I walk on it I'll just fall through the map.

I hope they flesh out Pal vs Pal combat before they push out PvP update , as of now the fight is kinda basic as Pal only have attack skill .
Hey Ed, IDK if you're already working on this but a really helpful idea for a video would be how to automate a metal farm in Palworld. I figured it out eventually but I'm sure that would help new people.
The Devs shared their insight about PVP and very transparent about how they are so reluctant to add PVP on this cuz they know it will be difficult to balance things. Cuz they are aware that PVP in other games like this doesn't go very well.
I'm having non stop fun with this game so far, there are a few bugs that make me want to stop playing for a bit until it's fixed, but otherwise great game so far. Also can't wait for those new pals, was wondering why some in the promotional art and trailers weren't in the game, nice to know thye'll just be coming later on
Imo the biggest thing that needs fixing is how slow mounts are (aside from bugs ofc). How can these super athletic mighty&magical beasts be barely faster than me?

The whole archipelago is the "Palapagos" you know, the Galapagos for Pals. The tablet at the start makes it clear that that huge tree is the most important thing around and when it comes to raids they definitely don't mean the towers, those are just the leaders of the syndicates. They must have something bigger and more Ark like planned for the raid bosses.
As with Breath of the Wild, the problem remains the lack of story content. Everything else is great.
I hope they fix the type charts neutral is just bad and fire is op plus burn is a pretty powerful status but love the game overall

Yes, I did come critical of Palworld. Still am. But I would love to play a small indie game like Pokémon with unique designs and its own style. And separately, I'm a big Persona fan.
So I appreciate the evangelism towards the genre as a whole. I hope it brings you some more views and subscribers, as you'll have better context for this game than others just jumping in.
