  1. To me its quite the opposite of everyone, im playing it (and enjoying it) because Pals have a "Pokemon'ish" look to them and i love it thats what i didnt like with TemTem, but hey to each their own 😛

  2. I read raid bosses as MMO style bosses expecting multiple high level players. Personally I’m hoping they avoid anything that requires group content.

    Pal Arena sounds neat. Would be cool if it’s AI battles where you could bet on them or something. I really enjoyed that in DQ8. A few of the Digimon games have done that too.

    Biggest things I’m looking for are AI, pathing and building improvements. There is a lot of jank and room for QoL features that, while expected from an early access title, will hopefully get attention sooner than later.

    It’s unfortunate that “among other things” probably includes the death threats and calls for lawsuits that have been thrown their way. I don’t envy them for that.

  3. I formally request that we keep the current version of the AI where they clip into a wall and get stuck as an option

    It's hilarious to walk back to your base and see them all trying to macarena through your central hub xD

    But, yes, facetiousness aside

    More servers so I can actually log in

    Less bugs/clipping

    More islands

    More pals

    Maybe some digimon and a few yu-gi-oh cards (I can dream…)

    Basically – all of that

  4. The construction system needs some major improvments. Some sort of snapping to other things, more consistent placment rules, not colliding with mobile objects (loot, pals) when building… There is probably more, but I can't think of it right now.

  5. I've lowkey been playing the combat akin to Spectrobes Origins from the Wii HAHA

    The entire left half of the element triangle is actually akin to the Spectrobes one (Fire -> Grass -> Earth -> Electric -> Water -> Fire), and you can recall your mon instantly to avoid having them take damage. The skill expression in this game feels very cohesive once you perfect synergy between yourself and your mons

  6. To me the game feels like if the pokemon team of gen 1 – 5 made a legends arceus but with loads of QOL extras and added stuff ppl wanted.

    I have always wanted to ride my pets (pokemon, digimon, monsters, etc…) and have them help rather than sit in the pc. Even help traverse areas that before were inaccesible.

    To see more content planned is exciting! Granted it's still early access but to me it feels like a full release so far.

  7. A roadmap is good and everything, but they'll have to start hiring immediately and get an actual production schedule on order and frankly they don't have a lot of time, you gotta strike while the iron is hot with these kinds of situations.

  9. Hey Ed, IDK if you're already working on this but a really helpful idea for a video would be how to automate a metal farm in Palworld. I figured it out eventually but I'm sure that would help new people.

  10. The Devs shared their insight about PVP and very transparent about how they are so reluctant to add PVP on this cuz they know it will be difficult to balance things. Cuz they are aware that PVP in other games like this doesn't go very well.

  11. I'm having non stop fun with this game so far, there are a few bugs that make me want to stop playing for a bit until it's fixed, but otherwise great game so far. Also can't wait for those new pals, was wondering why some in the promotional art and trailers weren't in the game, nice to know thye'll just be coming later on

  12. yeah love it or hate it, palworld is good for the monster taming genre, competition makes everyone try harder ^_^ I'm from the arpg crowd and we've been eating good this last year, I hope you all have similar good food.

  13. I'm so sick of hearing the hate surrounding Palworld. It feels like every news gamer I watching is al "You must hate it! look at how horrid this is! Nut only to pkmn and Nintendo!" smh. I LOVED nexomon and can't wait for 3!

  14. The whole archipelago is the "Palapagos" you know, the Galapagos for Pals. The tablet at the start makes it clear that that huge tree is the most important thing around and when it comes to raids they definitely don't mean the towers, those are just the leaders of the syndicates. They must have something bigger and more Ark like planned for the raid bosses.

  15. Yes, I did come critical of Palworld. Still am. But I would love to play a small indie game like Pokémon with unique designs and its own style. And separately, I'm a big Persona fan.

    So I appreciate the evangelism towards the genre as a whole. I hope it brings you some more views and subscribers, as you'll have better context for this game than others just jumping in.
