  1. Just wanted to say that #2 spot is by far my favorite, not only is it near a settlement with merchants but there's also a Black Market trader (assuming their spawn aren't RNG? Which it doesn't seem like) if you jump off the cliff in the back.

Saves me from having to capture them and wasting a pal slot for em.

  2. You should really tell ppl why you closed yourself off of the little river lake cause I saw that area and thought it was beautiful and took hours to move my base there. turns out the pals just keep getting stuck in the water ALLLLLL the damn time. You have to keep going in to fetch them or moving them out with the pal box. I hate this location. It's also not enough space for everything if this is your only base. Now I have to move everything AGAIN.

  4. I use the autumn forest. If you place the palbox on the edge of the upper platform just at the edge of the rocks, your zone will encompass 4 of the ore nodes, and also still cover the entire upper platform. Using a Digtoise in your party, you can make short work of the couple other ore nodes at the bottom that are just out of range. Best location I think for a main base with ore production.

  5. I wanted to throw in one thats worked for me:
    300,244
Its in the desert on top of a flat mountain. Tons of coal up there. Had to build some tall walls to block out hostile flying pals, but no raids have reached me yet

  7. a little annoying how none of the people who cover this game can actually read or pronounce the materials or pals by their real names. honestly such a peeve. i understand messing up, but clearly ignoring what it is for your own word makes it hard to pay attention

  8. Do not build at the fort ruins. I made this mistake and had to move pretty quickly as those big stone walls cause the pals in your base to bug out big time. 90% of the time you will come back to your base to find all your pals starving and injured because they some how get stuck up on the big stone walls. Tgis happens all the time and it also means they get nothing done while your not at your base baby sitting them.

  9. Trying out the base location from the #1 suggestion, and I just have to ask, how is your base radius so large? Mine barely fits half of it

    EDIT:

Been trying to work around the size limitation, and so far

    1) Items I've built are auto destroying themselves if I try to build anything new.

    2) enemies are able to spawn on the mountain itself

    3) enemies are able to be pushed into the rock ledge leading to the ore rocks

    4) my pals are constantly fluxuating between battle mode, and passive mode due to an enemy being pushed into said rock

So far, that #1 spot you recommend has sadly been a 0/10 experience.

  10. I made mine location #2 but having a few issues , none of my pals will mine the ore , I’ve even built it in so they literally have nothing else to do and they still won’t ? Also I put my pal marker too close to the wall and now my pals spawn inside the wall, and I gotta grab them and throw them free smh, so be cautious of that 💪

  11. I also found the Anubis throne in the bottom left and spent hours building the base to find out raids don't spawn in this whole region. Im almost level 40 now and haven't been raided since I moved to the Anubis spot feels boring I sadly plan on moving from it cause of this

  12. the first place if you went down a bit till theres a small bridge. Raiders always come thru the bridge but i gate it up and they went into the river. But they can never climb up on my side. So i just mount my watever and fck em up xD

But the downside is whenever i went out hunting etc and came back, some of my pals will also stuck in the river there and die of hunger lmao.

  13. I had that one Spot like many do as my ORE base (Near the yellow and orange trees), till I moved up to Refined and needed Coal as well, then I moved North, there is a spot that has Ore and coal together on top of a hill, Not Perfect flat for main base but great Ore farm for Pals. (Just east of Vaelet Boss) … My main base is my Farm breeding base.

I actually had my base there since the beginning
The best thing is that raiders can only enter through the middle and Left open walls

I'm moving tho since the small space is too cramped for me with all the huge pals and a breeding farm is really difficult to fit in there
