I kinda get surprised when people underrate Kim’s offensive stats 🫢
Obviously his stats are low compared to Manny or 21 Tatis, but he’s actually above-average as a shortstop.
League average OPS+ is 92 for SS position, while Kim has 110. Only six other shortstops in the league have higher OPS+ than Kim, and those are Seager, Bogaerts, Swanson, T Turner, Lindor, and Correa. And guess what? Kim’s bwar is 3.9, which is second in Padres (Manny 5.0, Cronenworth 3.7) and higher than Seager and Correa. He’s expected to finish the season with around 4.5 ish bWar, which worth around 26-27 million dollars. But how much do we actually pay him? Only 7m.
Fire KC manager and again the worst player in baseball since 2021 was playing kc 's 3b Hunter D . Ryan O DH trade or release these 2 kc clowns.. and bring Eaton back from AAA.. putting a player at a position and letting him work it out is the road to success.. but that is not the KC manager.. when you have Ryan O and Hunter D
