I have an ancient rotating vane anemometer. It’s been reliable over the years but I’d love a new weather station. That being said some rain to put out those fires would be great. It’s a bit smoky here.

The Jet seems pushed further west than everyone was predicting for this El Nino. I wonder how this will persist throughout the fall/winter, and if it will keep us cooler than expected. I have seen some other weather hobbyist show that the 98/99 winter as an aligning analog for the current conditions. If that is the case things could get interesting in the PNW!
