Hey Threatx, with the Fourberie mod you can go to the town in which you want to start a gang in. Talk to the current gang leader of the town and you can do jobs for her just like quests that can earn you money. Once you complete enough of the "missions" you can duel her. If you win you can join her gang as a partner or you can start your own gang in the same town. Where you can access more money making methods and schemes. If you choose partner you can also incite a rebellion instead I believe, but I'm not sure about the last part.
Use the sea raider army to get that castle.

Normal units from town and town villages and noble units from castle villages
With all the rescued bandits and other people, you could recruit them and then just dump them into your safe house, to keep your Calvert only but also help you make money

Your men's refusal to join you in a clockwise charge gives me so much anxiety lol. Would be cool to have options to customize how your men fight in this game.

You have to raise your rep with one of the gang leaders to 40 and then challenge them to a 1v1 and beat them. then you can take over.
