  1. I've been a fan since Taking Over in 87, they are a band that has rarely let me down, and Blitz must have sold his soul, I swear that fucker is immortal, love or hate his style( I love it) his voice never ages! Whether I like this one as much as Wings Of War, I dunno, but it's definitely another solid addition to their lengthly discography. Good review fellas!

  2. Good album and thanks for the review. One of the most consistent bands that I like. Highlights for me are Goin' Home, The Surgeon, and Twist of the Wick. The only songs I really got bored with were the title track and Bag o' Bones. Been a fan since Taking Over and glad they are still going strong.

  3. Overkill is awesome. The album jams. Of course it’s the same old stuff! Band been around for 40 years they aren’t going to become an alt rock band, incorporate shitty rap into it & they not gonna make showtunes. It’s fuckin thrash

  5. Pretty good album. I ordered the longbox CD and I can’t wait to get that in the mail. The title track, Surgeon, and Twist Of The Wick are some of my favorites.

  7. Overkill is one of several bands that I think is putting out better music in the last fifteen years than in their younger days. The classic stuff and mid period stuff all rules but damn, these dudes are putting out crushing material in their 60s!

  8. A great review.
To me it is another good Overkill album. Which means, more of the same, in every department. Did it stretch any limit, or dared to? No. It is the same album I heard a billions times prior. So that's why I can't really get excited by it.

  9. Agree with y’all, again. I’m kinda right in the middle, with a 7.5/8 rating. Slays the new Metallica, still. About exactly what I expect when I get a new Overkill! That’s what we love and want though. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤘🏼
