I'm so glad you found this movie. Rom-coms are not my thing, but there's something magical about this movie that still makes me feel good, even after seeing it at least a half dozen times over the years. Her answer at the end to, "what could I possible give you", is sooo perfect. Like you said, they just don't make movies like that anymore. Hard to believe the critics gave it a 5 out of 10 rating (on average) when this movie was released.
35:15 I think it's the self-aware cynicism level that society opperates at now that people just look down on a movie like this… which is kind of a bummer.

Come Christmas you should watch the Christmas Chronicles 1 and 2. Kurt plays Santa and Goldie is Mrs. Klaus. They're cute movies.

I still have fond recollection of seeing 2 of Kurt Russell’s movies at the drive in that happen to be a couple of his 1st ones. Both are comedy’s and take place at a fictional college and Kurt is basically the coolest “nerd” in his group of friends. 56 years old now, so I’m guessing these movies were around 1975 give or take. I’ve been a fan ever since. Seems like a good human too. Great reaction as always. I looked them up…..
