  1. Brilliant vlog guys. Great compilation of bargain retailers. I always pop into most when I'm assing to see what hidden gems they have in. I often get vitamins from Poundland and Home Bargains marked vegan an really cheap – on that topic Asda iron tablets and Tesco omega 3,6,9 are also marked vegan for anyone interested

  2. Really the only thing I find a bit poor in Aldi is cheese, pizza, tofu and yogurt or lack off, the cheese they bring out every January is the plant menu cheese is pretty rubbery and quite plain, they have a bbq stuffed crust pizza at the moment, they used to do a beautiful spicy cauliflower pizza which stayed well beyond January and has disappeared and I've never seen vegan yoghurt there ever and they don't seem to sell tofu. I do get most of what I need in aldi except cheese and tofu which I get over the road in morrisons whom are pretty good for cheese and tofu and yogurt, Asda are great for cheese also which I visit at least once a month as I don't live near one but I go when visiting friends who do live near one, also asda is the only place I can get vegan black pudding. So aldi is probably my regular supermarket apart from a few bits I get in morrisons cheese and tofu mostly.

  3. Some great bargains there. I really like those Little Jude's lollies, they're nice if you just fancy a sweet treat but don't want to be tempted to eat too much – you can't eat them too quickly because they're quite firm.

  4. Thanks for the info on the face cream from Poundland. I've had a nightmare trying to find decent face creams for the older skin ( you know what I mean Paul!) Chris from Poundland- sort your attitude out!

  5. My groceries are much cheaper now. Potatoes and rice are super cheap and I buy a lot of veg on sale and freeze it. We also go to a discount grocery store that has a fabulous bulk section. I've been buying dried soy beans in bulk and it's super easy to get my protein. I must say I'm not a fan of lentils so far and won't be buying any more of those.

  6. Totally agree re Linda sausages. There for us when noone else was and just brilliant anyway. (Still grieving the loss of the Linda sausage plait though. Will NEVER understand why they phased them out 😔)

  7. Don't worry about old misery poundland Chris. You are both doing a fantastic job! My mum had a go at me on a call today for being vegan (I'm in my 50's and been vegan for 12 years), she's never accepted it 😂 I just laugh at her.

  8. Great Vlog guys. You do us proud introducing new Vegans to what’s out there.
Btw I made the cheese and onion quiche/flan…absolutely delicious, I can’t stop eating it. So thanks for that. ❤️xx

  9. Hi, been following your channel for a while and enjoying it. As a "starter" vegan what I'm interested in which doesn't seem to be talked about a lot on "Vegan Youtube" which is largely food-based is how and where you go shopping for things that are commonly made out of animal products (mainly leather): smart shoes and to a lesser extent belts and wallets. It'd be nice to get your and your viewers advice and opinions on this.
