  1. Lot's of funny jokes i this episode, but because I am a man child, none of them made me laugh more that the idea of playing a card called "Pussy Boss". I will play it next to Krenko's Buzzcrusher and then the infantile joke set will be complete with a Pussy Boss and a Butt crusher on the battlefield..

  2. Taii Wakeen is definitely going to see more play in eternal formats, especially commander. Making your Impact Tremors or Warleader's Call deal 3 damage with each ping is going to feel quite tasty.

  3. Boneyard desecrator looks like it could be super strong in limited with enough merc token production. Tap a merc to buff desecrator, sac it to desecrator, AND get half the mana back? Seems like it could be gas

  4. Wow! That Reckless Lackey is really cool. I actually LOVE that it has First Strike because it actually gets around that whole "If you sac your dude during combat, it doesnt deal its damage." thing… Super old school players will know how annoying that is.

  5. I think there is probably a playable jeskai burn deck with Taii Wakeen and Lilah. You get enough value out of Lilah rebounding just Lightning Helix and Slick Sequence, and maybe this deck wants Ill-Timed Explosion as well. Then if you do have one of your burn spells plotted, you can dump all your mana into Taii Wakeen for a big fireball. Lilah probably also wants to be played with the Aftermath Niv Mizzet, but that's another deck.

And something to think about are the split cards from MKM. They're all multi-colored, so you could cast the cheaper spell with Lilah out and it gets plotted. Then on a future turn you can cast either half of the card for free. So like cast Push on turn 4 then Pull on turn 5.

  6. @SBMTG Dev, you can crew the limousine with any creatures as long as their total power is 1 or more. There isn't a limit to the number of creatures. That's how crew has always worked. I can tap 100 creatures and get 100 treasures. I could tap 30 hill giants, it doesn't matter. It just means you can't do that whole process more than once, because if you could, you could tap 10 guys, get 10 treasures, use some mana to untap those creatures with some effect or spell, and crew it again. As long as you had more creatures or could untap you could keep generating treasure. It does not limit the number or power of creatures you can crew with, just that you can crew only once. The other way they COULD HAVE chosen to limit it was to have the treasures come into play tapped; but they are untapped, so they needed a limitation.

  7. forsaken miner is absolutely a combo piece/value engine piece, but likely won't move up past budget jank in some eternal format. it's sorta gravecrawler-ish. triggers off of blood artist.
