Outdoor Magazine Radio (10/8/22)

We kick off this week’s show with Northern Michigan farmer and hunting guide Vance Gawel. Vance tells the story of guiding a blind war here on a successful bear hunt.

Then, bowhunter Tony Clor talks about losing his bear to a pack of UP wolves.

Hour two features Captain Jeff Godi of The Michigan Experience. Jeff is a hard core Saginaw Bay waterfowl hunter.

Nick Green from the Michigan United Conservation Clubs is up next. Nick talks about programs to get young hunters involved in the sport.

Shooting related hearing loss is the subject in the final hour with audiologist and avid hunter Dr. Mike Stewart. Mike describes how that hearing loss happens and how to prevent it.

We wrap it all up with Chef Dixie Dave Minar and another great recipe.
