  1. AMEN to the hatred of motion blur! I can't stand that either! I can't imagine there are that many gamers out there that get "motion sick" that would even need the motion blur with how prevalent it is in games. With the overwhelming number of people that HATE this setting, it surprises me developers still even include it. I have NEVER heard of anyone praise/use it (at least not on purpose). And maybe you're saying it to be humorous/sarcastic, but "nondescript pills"? They absolutely had a description if you were to READ IT "Pills: Restores health value by 20%". I'd say that's considerably descriptive.

  2. I have to say… Before I got used to my cochlear implant, I thought sound design was the least important thing for games… Now I'm at that point where I'm noticing the little things you talk about, like the pipe not having a satisfying Clunk! when you hit stuff.

  3. Game looks cool, but I can't watch anymore of this video, I think motion blur is fine most of the time, but I've never seen it to this extent. This is to much for me

  4. EDIT because I had to add this from the Steam Page:
    Planned Release Date: August 22
This game plans to unlock in approximately 1 day and 13 hours

    Umm ya, just no.
Throw it back in the oven a bit unless the copy you sent out to Demo is way, and mean way behind what you plan to release…
That being said it does appear it will be free…

Agreed, good bones long way to go.
I'll keep an eye on it for sure and thanks for yet another heads up Splat…
Oh and to what you've said, "the shotgun doesn't need the tacticool snap back into ready". May look ok on tv or whatever but that fast of a snap back to ready isn't anywhere near accurate or safe IRL and made me wince every time I it happened.
I would have liked to if Splat had used the "F" key Night Vision would have activated and is a given or if you have to find/craft it before use. The tool tip, which Splat always for the most part ignores, indicated that just hitting the "F" key would activate it..

  5. Between the massive lack of common sense stuff that you point out, along with the weird enemy spawns and other issues… it really seems to me like this game is made by not only amateurs but by people who don't Really understand what makes a game a good game and what matters and what doesn't. They have all the assets and all the basic easy to produce code etc. but everywhere that things Count and where a developer can really show that they know what they're doing, this falls flat on it's face. Best of luck to the developers but unless they prove going forward they actually understand how to make a good game then I wouldn't bother with it. It's a very basic and generic game for a very basic and generic gamer in it's current state you gotta have pretty low standards to think this looks good. Assets and code are not hard actual game design is hard and that's the one thing they don't seem to have.

  6. Going into industrial areal for looting with your inventory almost full is not the best idea. Splat, how come you play games for so long and still make such amateurish mistakes?

  7. No offense my good Splatter sir…. but closing the base gate my save you zombie hassle 🤣, but ya… game looks good, needs some work. Be able to scrap boxes in the base to clean it up would be nice

  8. Sorry man can't watch your videos for longer than a minute. You don't have to keep talking just to fill in minor silences. It makes the things you say start to feel unimportant. It just never ends. Your content is cool but your commentary drives me away.

  9. After all, who can't build a working solar panel with tape, wire, a screwdriver, and a couple of pieces of scrap metal, right? Heh, heh. Look, I know that this isn't real-life, but isn't that just too silly even for a game?

I can see building a fire ring or a crude shelter or something. Or even making very crude tools. But otherwise, since this seems to be a technological society, why not have existing power installations which just require a little maintenance? This is like casting a spell and having stuff magically appear. Really, it's no more plausible than that, is it?

  10. What coming about soda, I prefer just water or tea. But I admit, that what is coming about Dr.Pepper, there is little bit of Dalek in me. (You know: "doctor…Doctor…DOCTOR! EXTERMINATE!!! EXTERMINATE!!!!!")

  11. As a millennial, I am super uncomfortable and offended about the way you so blithely talk about soda. Listen man you can't just go around putting sodas on top tiers while putting the rest on bottom tiers. That violates the soda equality act which clearly states that all soda is equal and if Sprite wants to identify as dark and coke wants to identify as clear they have that right. Sodas have rights!

  12. I think you need to know that it's a small team one of the team members made game that didn't get finished. It's quite good he finished the story on it. Before I got changed over to this game. But it looks like most of the core elements this single dev did. He also stated because he didn't finish the game he worked on by himself. He would give this game for free to people who bought that game. So all I can say is he is essential trying.
Yeh game has some falls but so does other one.

  15. It feels like 100 solo developers all bought the same assets and all made the similar type of game, aka zombie survival, and hardly any of them have made a full decent game.
All these devs should hook up and make one good game rather than loads of boring nad incomplete ones.
