Well this video didn’t go to plan. This was supposed to be the first drive in our hurricane Helene flooded Porsche RS60 Spyder, but instead the engine decided to die and now it won’t start. We did an oil change, ozone treatment, and started to fix the electrical issues, but now we’re stumped what to do with this rare Porsche we bought sight unseen from the Copart salvage auction.

You need to program the body control mode
Clutch safety switch try that
I would say that the corroded fuse panel is the problem.
Salt water corrosion and added power from the battery makes the corrosion travel up the wires and modules pretty fast. You’ll be surprised. Don’t ask me how I know 😢
Ok, first of all, moron to the previous owner who clearly didn't care about his/her car if it was left to the elements, i.e. a massive hurricane that was alerted.
Second, why you still haven't stripped the interior to clean it from top to bottom if you want at least a remote chance to save it? The fact that water got low doesn't mean the interior is fully safe… other than the fact that wiring, modules and fuses are mostly fucked and the last thing you should do in this cases is to start the car.
Has to be fuse related
Good job your doing great never give up jr PS Kayden Scott
Touch base with Samcrac. He knows.
Why don't you clean the passenger seat and redye it the same color ? Guaranteed to look a lot better than what it is now LOL😮😂😂🎉
if not work first check in a pyro relay. Because if a pyro relay broken does not startup.
Yall could have tried to pop start the car if u assume it's the clutch switch
Water damage cars have to be stripped down completely and all components have to be tested, thoroughly cleaned and or replaced. Especially the electronics… Been there, done that…
Gulf of Mexico, now it's been said once too often
Oil used to be $0.79 a quart
water in the gas?
Just a guess… and I'm by no means an expert… but maaaaaybe the problem is something to do with the fact that the car was submerged in salt water. Just a guess though.
@ammonyc for the interior detail
Sorry but this car will never be the same again unless you strip the interior apart and really clean it.
Starter??? or brake pedal switch
OMG a waste.
Try replacing the Clutch Pedal Ignition Starting Switch, or bypassing it. Its up under the dash and takes about 5 mins to replace.
