Well I think it’s fair to say Toby’s a safe hack! This was my second time taking Toby outside of the yard’s property and our first time meeting more than just a few cars on the road, which was an even bigger test this time as there were no horses behind us as a safety blanket!
It was also our first canter in a big open field as we’d only had a couple of shorter, more enclosed canters on our first ride out. He couldn’t have behaved any better and I’m so happy with how he took everything in his stride (including cows on both sides of us!)
