Hate to flog a dead horse but if this YES vote gets through, watch even more of the our country get shut down.
Hey Shaun,
Pete Phillips from Lake Lyell Rec Park, we love this episode and what it is about. As a result we would be happy to open up our park for for a free weekend of camping, bush awareness and education. Please reach out if this is of interest.
Cheers Pete…
Unfortunately the mining companies have legislation, environmental protection assurances and they provide a profit from the land. The 4wd community doesn’t, even though the companies that pillage the land will always end up causing more harm than enthusiasts the government will always favour the people with paperwork.
I seriously hope it doesn’t continue, I love my local tracks but in reality what are we to do about it?
I am finding that in our local area (Central coast), it is not just the 4wd'ers that are dumping rubbish on the tracks, especially the urban ones. It is people with loads of domestic waste that can't afford or be bothered to take it to the tip. Access to local landfill in our area is expensive and limited, so this has made the issue worse. Local council just closes tracks when waste is dumped instead of issuing fines or solving the core problem.
great video as always. keep up the great work.
It is high time we all began to look after the areas we enjoy exploring and learning about.
Please look after YOUR 4wd destinations by keeping them clean and tidy. Enough leaving rubbish or broken parts laying about in the bush or anywhere else!
Its simple you take it, and bring it back!
Lets do more to Keep tracks open!
My dad took me off-roading and my fav track was closed sadly
I help close them , people dumb rubbish and destroy the land , then simple shut the gate , don’t care , why I hate is cars Utes and rigs with keep it clean stickers and and 4wd27 stickers or gear and leaving campsites ruined and rubbish everywhere , and simple tired of it as it ruins our wildlife so the gates getting closed
I’m just here to let you boys now that you’ve got me alongside youse in this time and I’m going to start cleaning up the bush by starting in Bundaberg state forestry
4wd 24 -7 you guys should get on the big radio stations when your ready to make a good and proper stand it’s the best way to reach the wider 4wd community love what your doing and I’m ready to stand up and support this cause 🍻
Just watch your own videos. Pretty self explanatory why they are closing the tracks
How about you guys look after the tracks and stop premoting abusing them. People watch what you do and think that its fine to do them in the wet and cut them up causing erosion issues.
Tag me along to a convoy to parliament
cant wait for that donut media episode, love both your chanels boys
4wd24/7 political party??? Got my vote 👍👍
What is the exact kind of car Sean has I wanna buy one like his
Not just the rubbish, but also the damage to tracks. I want to take my stock vehicle on 'Easy' tracks, then I turn up and the track has huge ruts that most stock vehicles are unable to drive.
Its no bloody wonder , the amount of deadshits that dont give a shit and root tracks and piss and crap everywhere and leave rubbish behind and speed up the beaches , im amazed there's not MORE closures .
Hey guys. The problem is the wankers that litter the bush are not watching this video.
I pick up rubbish all the time but even I get to the point where there's just too much to pick up and I just drive on past.
In regards to the condition of fire tracks I reckon everyone running 35inch+ tyres and floors it everywhere they go are to blame.
revenue gathering
Maybe stop tearing the fuckin tracks up in your videos and they will stop getting closed. Knobs
I would say your channel is a major cause of this problem, not that it’s your fault, people want to emulate you guys on the tracks that’s cool but it’s the behind the scenes stuff and prep work ie. food prep to minimise rubbish, carry reusable water bottles not a slab of 600ml bottles simple stuff like that. People just haven’t been educated your right so make it a small part of every show to keep it front of mind. Vehicle maintenance is just as important as rubbish management. Still amazes me how many people still don’t carry bin bags on their tyre, so it is your duty to fix it. Roothy was onto this 10 or 15 years ago with unlock australia also btw.
feds are poofders as you know.
We need another 4wd24/7 crew run. Showcase what vehicles plus a meet the crew.
You should get on bored with other YouTube accounts like the silly swagman and Scotty's gone walkabout. 2 good channel that love the bush just as much as you guys and would want to help with keeping the bush clean
When a perfectly nice track is right next to the mud hole, 4wd 24/7 should think twice before going into bog holes. Just an idea…
You have my vote
Once you throw Sooty into a mud hole and leave 35” ruts, a fire truck can never go through there again. Until you blokes stop and go back with shovels and deal with what’s left behind, this issue won’t be resolved.
4WD 24/7 has a moral responsibility to lead by example
I fully agree with you guys. I study this kind of stuff at uni and sticking to the tracks and keeping the tracks clean cause no affects to the surrounding environment. The government are all about the money, they couldn’t care less about the environment and habitats of our native flora and fauna. People do need to pull their heads in and clean up their shit and treat the tracks and environment with respect.
Wombat holes at lithgow i always wanted to drive untill they filled it all in and put a fence thru the lot
We have done multiple clean ups down here in Tasmania the main one is Bellingham. There’s been a rumour of the police and parks trying to close it for a while now they have got that bad that they don’t want people on it that there going down there with transport once a month and all cars/bikes get inspected before they are allowed on the beach. There’s been a lot of rubbish down there for a long time the way I see it is if you can take it down you can take it back out as the rubbish will be the final reason they close it.
Trails are closing all over the country because Labor allows the greenies to run wild. The greenies agenda is to get everyone out of national parks and any other natural areas they can.
If the voice gets in we will lose most tracks.
As someone who work for NSW NPWS 4WDers leaving rubbish is not the only problem it’s also the way some people treat the tracks. The rule of thumb cost to repair a damaged track is about $1000 per square meter think about that over a km.
It would not surprise me if a gate got put across the OTT. We did it a week ago and the toilet paper is phenomenal. Bertie creek looked like it had a snow storm. It was atrocious. We then camped at Mistake which wasn’t as littered but some half wit left a whole plastic bag full of rubbish behind a tree along with ceramic plates! If you can bring it in, you can take it out. Also, bury your business and use quick dissolving loo paper!
I'm a jeep driver so follow a lot of American channels…. I've been trying to tell my wheeling mates how crazy the wheeling is over there…can't wait to see the video
Let 4×4 drivers keep people and land safe by driving the track we know its clear and drivable. Track closure and restrictions prevent first responders.
I was up at the wheeny creek trail at colo NSW a few weeks ago and seen a trailer load of rubbish piled up right on side of the track
Agree 100% try kicking off some potions to let the police’s we aren’t going away in a hurry
I'm very very confused you guys released of the US video and then didn't put out the other us videos what's up with that?????
