  1. I was getting ready for work the day it happened. I had just watched the news and was pottering about waiting for diagnosis murder to come on, when it switched to the news and I thought mum had changed the channel for a film. It didn’t seem real at first but it was and it was horrific

I saw both planes hit the Towers on the TV news * AS IT HAPPENED * !!!!!!!!!!!
I was still living in Charleston, SC for my temporary job and was due to soon move back home in NY City.
I then had second thoughts of returning to NYC ?????????????????
I did go back a couple of weeks later.
When my airline approached Laguardia Airport, I stared at the empty space left by the Towers.
For years, there was also an empty space in my heart.
Whenever I dial 911 for an emergency, I remember 2001.

  3. Bin laden is why I went into the military and happily killed everyone of his kind that I was legally allowed to. Cant stand Muslims. I can take the credit for killing his 3rd in command too. In Afghanistan.

  4. I'm not a fan at all of extra-judicial assassinations, but putting bin Laden on trial would have been a security nightmare. His supporters would have tried to break him out of prison, bomb the courthouse, assassinate the judge, prosecutors, and jurors. I don't see how it could have realistically been accomplished without stupendous cost.

  5. My mom's father used to work for Bin Laden constructions back in the 70s and 80s. He was denied American tourist visa when he tried to visit my mom in the USA in the 2000s😂

    We're Indians 🇮🇳 btw

  6. I was preparing to travel to Seattle, WA from Salem, OR that morning when we just "happened" to turn on the TV news as the second tower was being hit. I still went to Seattle and, if anyone knows how it is up there with Seattle-Tacoma Intern'l Airport and Boeing Field Intern'l, instead of the sky being filled with airplanes as usual, only fighter jets were patrolling the sky. I had lived in Seattle for over 30 years before moving to Oregon. It was the most eerie feeling seeing virtually empty sky in that area for the three days I was there. From that time forward we knew our nation we felt safe in would never be the same again.

  7. Very interesting documentary giving account of events leading up to and post attack on September 11 on American targets, mentioning The Pentagon, The Capitol Building and of course the Twin Towers of the World trade centre, no mention however of Tower 7 and its collapse due to debris damage causing fires which burned all day due to lack of water.

  8. I wouldn't see any value in having a trial for him. Expensive and drawn out power play. Murdering him like a rat sent the right message to those like him. Make them question, "Is Allah really on our side?"

  9. I had just bought a soda from a one-armed convenience store clerk in Virginia Beach on the way to work when I heard of the first plane hitting. The day that shaped my generation for sure

  12. Although I understand his cause – I can never agree with his methods . I believe that in time he lost sight of his moral compass and elected to have innocents folks pay for despicable men such as Dick Cheney. Osama bin Laden will NOT rest in peace .

  13. He never brings to Justice for those crimes affiliated to him..the unjust judgement and the cruelty of those people who love the power and want to conquer the world. Imagine if there was no war and no kings and no kingdoms. Just only mankind who lives together in Peace and Love
