Organizing a collection of Lionel locomotives (MTH too!)

Time to get things organized as I tidy up the Cloverdale Transit Authority fleet. Getting the locos out of the open air and dust and behind glass. How do you display your model railroad engines?

  1. It makes it nice to pick/handle engine and tender on a section of track. Pickup track and engine all together. No wheels to align on track when done. In fact screw the two sections of track to stained urethane oak board sized to tracks with router edges stabiles tracks more, and rises engine for enhanced display. I like your presentation of engines obtainable for people sans deep pockets. Honest restorable rebuildable engines you obtained in various ways interests more guys than one would think. I like it.😊😊😊
