  1. 10:14 Oregon DB Tysheem Johnson with horrible technique. Instead of back pedaling and keeping a 2-3 yard cushion on the receiver while keeping an eye on the QB, he tries to check the receiver after about 10 yards and gets shed. The receiver runs right pass him like he was standing still and immediately beats him. Horrible technique and approach by this DB. Players learn not to do that in high school. If you are going to check the receiver, you press and do it at the beginning so you can recover. If you do that ten yards down the field, you are a cooked duck. Hope he learns. These are mistakes that freshmen in high school make, not college D1 players.

  2. 12:26 Troy Franklin for Oregon taking the top off the defense. Oregon could have done this all game long with Franklin, Bryant and Tez Johnson. Why they only tried once or twice beats me. All of the Oregon receivers were capable and it was there.

  3. 29:27 Horrible coverage by Oregon's DB, #5 K Johnson. How do you not know where the ball is going? If he looks up, he has an interception. He was at the spot before the receiver even got there and instead of looking at the ball, he tries to hit the receiver before the ball gets there because he thinks he is beat. LOOK AT THE BALL. Horrible DB play by Oregon's best DB.

  4. 31:43 T Johnson #0 for Oregon getting called for the PI. One of 5 that Oregon was called on. Bad technique. His coach should know better. As a DB, if the receiver gets behind you, you are beat. If you are chasing and have to obscure their view of the ball to have any chance, you are beat. The goal is to not get beat in the first place, run with the receiver on your hip while looking back at the ball. Horrible technique by this DB. He is letting receivers run right by him. Not good technique.

  5. 32:12 Evan Williams Oregon safety with the perfect run stop. That is how you do it. As soon as you see the linemen pull, you know its a run play to that side. Williams read it, came up and plug the whole. One of the best defensive plays I saw this game. I don't know why they don't teach the secondary to read the lineman in order to react to the run. If linemen pull or shoot downfield you know its a run or a short pass.
