Orchestra performs requiem on site of children's hospital hit by Russian missile

An orchestra of Ukrainian musicians played a requiem in memory and honour of the killed and wounded in deadly Russian missile attack on Okhmatdyt children’s hospital.

The centre treated children with serious conditions, such as cancer and kidney disease, and had around 670 child patients and some 1,000 staff at the time of the attack.

Moscow denies attacking the hospital and has blamed Ukrainian anti-missile fire for the hit on the clinic, which is one of Europe’s largest and treats patients with various serious conditions.

  1. Russia contributes nothing to the World but vicious prejudice and sadistic intent, Putin has put Russia, and by extension, all of Europe, in the hands of a malignant fate, and by designing the path of its trajectory, he is doing everything in his power to see that fate fulfilled, whether by murderous intent, or inadvertently. For a Man of his stature and station in life, with his responsibilities, to be threatening Nuclear oblivion with the attitude that it is his inalienable right and won't be affected, is beyond diabolical arrogance, it is f-cking insane.

  2. This is astonishing in so many ways. It’s a graphic reminder that sometimes life hangs by a thread. Huge LOVE from the UK to these remarkable musicians playing amidst the rubble. Impossible to watch without the deepest respect ✨🌟✨
