  1. I absolutely love the OrbX TE series for XP11, so it's amazing news that it's finally being updated for XP12. Whatever they want for it, I'll pay – absolutely worth it! I'm totally with Q8 – it's quite extraordinary! And thanks for the preview Q8 – top quality content as usual!

  2. This is good news. Looks great, even in 1080p! But I hope you will do a more detailed in depth review in 4k of this scenery in the near future.

Since many of us, including myself already have the complete TrueEarth Great Britain series for X-plane 11, which works fine in X-plane 12. I would be interested how the new XP12 version compares with the older TrueEarth Great Britain North for X-Plane 11?

I would be definitely be interested in purchasing the newer version for XP12, if it has updated objects, buildings and cities etc, and maybe even improved textures/vegetation, and hopefully they tone the speed of the wind turbines down!..Look a the speed of those things!…So maybe a 'How does v12 compare to v11' would be a great video in the future for you to do.

Of course for anyone who hasn't already got the true earth series for x-plane 11, then this V12 version is a no brainer and a definitely must have scenery.

Orbx definitely do the best scenery packages for X plane, and their true earth series are just amazing works of art. If you tried doing this with ortho tiles you will get strange colour mismatches, as the satellite images of the tiles are all taken at different times of the year and day, so Orbx process them to 'colour correct' them all, so they all look accurate and realistic.

I much prefer using orbx TrueEarth Great Britain series of sceneries in XP12 over using MSFS, which i find am using less and less now, and concentrating on XP12 almost exclusively.
I would also be interested in a True earth 'Spain', 'Italy', 'France' and the rest of Europe if this works out for them. Orbx are simply the best at what they do. I just hope the market is big enough for them to justify all the hard work it takes to produce such detailed and complex scenery packages.

Another great Video from Q8Pilot! Looks like his channel will reach 100k subs soon!

  3. Well i buy Orbx products for both: msfs_XP11/12 and they can be a hitNmiss affair, yet the ''OrbX TE'' are exceptional, and yes, do work in xp12 with a few minor tweaks, the only niggle i have is we still have to by these packs, im not ungreatful or really moaning, because the results speak for themselves, and im already tempted. XP12 is a slow simmering….sim, and have brought several products you've reviewed that have been excellent. Kudos

  4. I enjoyed that. I currently use my GB True Earths from XP11 in XP12. They work fine. One point, one has to have XP11 installed if one wants to use Orbx Central for anything related to XP11. <tongue in cheek> Has Orbx modelled either the Glasgow Kiss or the Edinburgh Fringe points of interest?!

  5. there is a few problems i see you didn't notice, that bridge at Oban is floating with a bridge under it with the cars going over it, also there is still 2d trees mixed in the scenery next to roads and houses, also the shore lines are not masked properly, i feel they have not done anything apart from make it worse than what it was on x plane 11all they have done is made it available in the orbx central. yes it looks nice from above but when you get close in well what can i say.
