  1. I was there in Habbanyah in 04 with the 1st of the 506th.. I remember that day, I also remember the day they went in.. we were in defensive posture doing cordon searches… The Hornets flew over head day and night..I remember at night seeing their after burners with my NVGs and minutes later flashes coming from the area of Fallujah. In the day time the dropped a heavy bomb we felt it all the way in Habbanyah.. before the sound all we saw was the cloud rise up..

  2. Deadly work as always man!

Op Red Wings would be a good one imo.. I know where a lot of data is for that Op , the follow up operation with both AAR's Interviews , first hand account witnesses , news coverage , actual footage of the original firefight , where you can hear Danny Dietz i Imagine calling for QRF & TIC ,, Its very kinetic tho so its hard to make out what the seals are saying Plus Gulab & what he went thru where he is now etc

Ruby's Ridge would be a good one too, and the SAS taking the Iran Embassy in London be a good one, 6 days did not do it justice imo , Bravo 2 Zero , Jessica L , any ODA out of Vietnam or Navy Seal team stories are just legendary that was an Ambush war thats all is was , could not see anything then contact then gone fuckin insane firefights . John Chapman MOH winner , There is a Few IRA raids & SAS raid's on them that are insane

the Loss of GRS & CIA agents in Afgan in Khost or the also famous 13 hours movie that GRS fought in also .. there are so many .. loved this , that was a fight to the death why so many KIA & WIA & a huge amount of EKIA, Thanks as always love your work

  3. Great video as always. That was one terrible war. They really thought it was going to be easy for some reason. I had an idea for a future video: the recent attack on the Russian AWACS in Belarus. It might be a while before we know what exactly happened there. But it seems like an interesting event that probably took quite a bit of planning and coordination from whoever did it. It is also a significant loss to the Russian Air Force. Those things are not cheap or easily replaced.

  4. I was friends with a guy growing up. He joined out of HS and was in Fallujah. I've only heard him talk about it one time. It was when he was trying to tell his brother not to follow in his footsteps. And I only say "was" because he battles demons and doesn't talk to anyone these days. I won't share his stories but he saw some shit. I can't imagine being a 19 year old door kicker in that fight.

  5. No one talking about the fact that they used the Predator laugh? It's already scary the normal one, and they even used the DISTORTED VERSION, that had to be a Nightmare

  6. I suggest one that young folks nowadays should know about: Operation Eagle Claw. It's been going on to 43 years ago now that Delta mounted its first ever operation. It would make for interesting content.

  7. My uncle was in Iraq at the time with the Maine National Guard Company A 133rd Engineers. They were up around Mosul at the time of Fallujah II and a bunch of the insurgents fled Fallujah to Mosul and the second half of his deployment got pretty hot.

  8. I was a Abrams tank commander in Mahmudiyah, Iraq in May 2005. We had dealt with constant insurgent traffic moving north to Fallujah and Baghdad. IEDs, mortars and firefights where a daily occurrence.

  9. I would kill to see a mini doc on operation bolo from vietnam. I know it’s one of the most famous incidents but it would still be interesting with the GS touch.

  10. I’m glad you did a mini doc on this, this was my deployment.. I was part of Darkhorse 3/5 for operation phantom fury. I recognized some of the people in the video. Definitely brought back some memories.

  11. I was with 2nd BN, 4th Marines in Ramadi the spring and summer of 2004. The insurgents would move back and forth between Fallujah and Ramadi making things extremely dodgy. We lost 12 Marines on 6 April in what I believe was an uprising coordinated between insurgents operating in both cities. The fighting went on at one level or another all summer. Tough times. This video got me thinking. Semper Fi.

  12. You should cover the Battle of Marawi. The time when ISIS attacked Philippines. There are plenty of combat footage and the battles took place in city streets so it can give us a glimpse of what's like in a modern day urban combat.

  13. The next time we have to go over there, it's going to be EVEN WORSE thanks to our peesashit "president" leaving TONS of our gear over there. As a US Marine and Afghanistan veteran, I would pay good money to tell him right to his senile face how much of an embarrassment he is. Let's go Brandon.

  15. What a pointless war, based upon the lies of the Bush administration about non-existent wmds. The suffering on all sides and the destabilization of the area was completely unnecessary and a stain upon the American history.

  16. As you know i was there. The only things I'd point out are phosphorus wasn't widely used. What my platoon did to clear stubborn houses was send a armored d9 bulldozer to lock the house down with them in it.

We didnt use spider holes they did. We walked down the middle of the street kicking doors down as we went.

Your number for enemy dead is laughably low. I know that's the number given so not on you but yeah…
