Oh I love the wacky tracks from DT! I got a bunch of those! Sonic is so fun and colorful! Great idea with the iron on patch! What a cool lunch bag! He’s going to love that! I found crayons at Walmart for .35. I’m not sure every store has started the sale though. Oh so clever to wrap the ruler around the yo-yo. It was so nice that you and Trish were able to meet up and do an exchange! So fun! Isn’t it funny how we have all met? OCC has brought us all together! Thanks for sharing my friend! This little boy will be so super Sonic happy! 💙💙
This is an especially nice box 📦 for a boy. The sonic lunch bag 🎒 was a very nice 👌 find. That flash light 🔦 will be very useful and it's so great that it doesn't require batteries! Another well put together box that any young boy will just love to recieve!
Val, you should have been near me when I heard you say CM stickers. I whipped my head around and said, “That’s a WOW item.” 😂 You understand my scrapbooking passion. 😉 I have a few Sonic items, but I think it’s going to take me a couple of years for a themed box. I think you did a fabulous job with this shoebox. Even if he doesn’t know about Sonic, he’ll enjoy his gifts. So glad you finally found some crank flashlights. I love shopping while out of town. ☺️
My Walmarts have Crayola 24 packs for .50 and CraZArt for .35 as well as colored pencils and markers cheaper. It sort of looks like they're phasing out the 24 packs in favor of 32 count. Guess we'll find out going forward. A couple of my stores only had a pack or 2 but I got more yesterday at a different store. I was glad because l donated all my extras last year and have been paying regular price so far this year. I wasn't planning to start packing in January.
Oh and love the Sonic box. Brings back memories of my boys playing Sonic years ago. The coloring book will be fun too when it arrives. 🙂
Val, this Sonic box turned out awesome! IMO Sonic merchandise is not necessarily the easiest to find, so this display is amazing. Love his Sonic stuffie and tee. Kohls definitely comes in handy when looking for character shirts that you can’t find elsewhere. I’m beyond happy that you finally have marbles to include in some of your shoeboxes. (Thanks for the shout out.) It was my pleasure. A little trivia for you…Sonic the Hedgehog is a Japanese video game series, thus the Japanese writing. I love that you ordered the Sonic coloring book to familiarize him with the character. I like doing the same with a either a coloring book or a book, when possible. Thanks for sharing this joyful gift for a 5-9 year old boy. 💙
I actually really liked the Sonic movie! So I love this theme. I'm shocked you found so many Sonic items – there are not a lot of products out there. Love the Sonic stuffy and shirt. So awesome you included the soccer ball to match Sonic colors and that Sonic runs really fast so it's fitting. You included a lot of other fun items like the flashlight, marbles, and vehicle. Love the lunch box, and water bottle. Very cool and fun shoebox, Val! Thanks for sharing! 💙
It's so great that you combined a soccer ball with the Sonic theme. I'll keep this combination in mind if I'm ever lucky enough to see a cheap Sonic plush. The t-shirt is also great. 💙

I have fond memories of playing Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Megadrive.
oh how I love Sonic, I grew up playing these games (still have them and the Sega Genesis) and it was my favorite! The orange fox is Tails, Sonic's sidekick, and the red hedgehog is Knuckles, they were enemies at first but teamed up at some point. I would love to do a Sonic box but I'm not sure I could find enough items at a good price, I would be up for the challenge though…. At 13 mins I hear you have a cardinal! I have a few, I love them. Love this box!
