La Propaganda, que NO la Historia, nos ha hecho creer que el Imperio del Japón inició su expansión territorial en los años 30’s, invadiendo a China, creando en Manchuria (1931), el Estado títere de Manchukuo y en seguida, “Provocando a OCCIDENTE”, para apoderarse de las Islas Filipinas y de todo el Sur Este de Asia. ¿Realmente fue así como sucedieron los acontecimientos? ¿Japón invadió a China y al Sur Este de Asia? Y Holanda (Países Bajos), poseía la totalidad de Indonesia. Todo estaba en manos de Alemania, Inglaterra, Bélgica, Portugal, España, y desde luego, también los Estados Unidos estaban en el Sur Este Asiático pues éste país, los US, ocupaban Filipinas desde 1898. La cifra es correcta. Un Millón de muertos). Sigo: Porque sí. Filipinas estuvo ocupada por el Imperio Español por 200 año. Así se presentaba el panorama en los años 30’s del Siglo XX. El Imperio de Japón, al derrotar al Imperio Ruso Zarista, también decidió “Crecer” invadiendo a sus vecinos. En aquellos años, todas las naciones europeas se dedicaban a ROBAR a través de sus Colonias en África, en Medio Oriente, en Asia, en Australia y en América. (Inglaterra, llegó a ocupar casi 1/4 parte del planeta). Por otro lado, los Estados Unidos, en los 113 años de existencia como nación en aquellos años, habían “Crecido” 711 veces el tamaño de su territorio a partir de sus 13 colonias originales. ¿Se aclara el panorama? Mire usted: Japón había luchado del lado de los ganadores en la Primera Guerra Mundial (1914-1918), y a ellos, a los Japoneses, no les otorgaron ninguna “Ganancia”. Los vencedores occidentales de la WWI se repartieron el mundo. A Japón lo excluyeron. Por lo tanto, parecen más claros los motivos de Japón para atacar y expandirse como lo hacían los europeos y también lo hicieron y lo siguen haciendo los US. Entonces ellos, los Japoneses, atacaron a China, que estaba ocupada por 6 potencias occidentales desde hacía años. Por Siglos, mejor dicho. Es un hecho que, cuando los Japoneses invadieron China, NINGUNA de las 6 potencias europeas que estaban dentro del territorio Chino, le declaró la guerra a Japón. ¡NADIE LO HIZO! Ni siquiera protestaron. Los Japoneses convivieron con toda armonía y en santa paz por 11 años. Luego ellos… "La nación Canalla", es decir, los Japoneses, atacaron Hawái que, a su vez, esta Isla había sido ocupada y anexada por los US en 1898. En 1901-1902, Hawái se convirtió en un territorio propiedad de los US y, Hawái, dejó de ser una nación independiente luego de más de 630 años de soberanía. Cuando Japón atacó Perl Harbor, Hawái apenas tenía 40 años de ser “Territorio de Estados Unidos”. En fin. Luego ellos, los Japoneses, atacaron Singapur, que en ese entonces era una Colonia de Inglaterra. Pero, la Propaganda nos ha convencido de que los buenos fueron los yanquis y que los malos fueron los Japoneses y, que por eso, merecieron que les lanzaran sobre su población civil un bombazo atómico. Repito, para que le quede claro el papel de Japón en China: No se olvide por favor que, NINGUNA de las potencias occidentales (EU, UK, Francia, Holanda, Bélgica, Alemania, etc.), que invadían toda China, se opuso a la ocupación Japonesa. Nadie le declaró la guerra a Japón por este allanamiento brutal a China. NADIE. Todas las 6 potencias más Japón, convivieron dentro de China en tranquila paz y cooperación durante 11 años, hasta que en Diciembre 7 de 1941, Japón atacó Pearl Harbor. Sólo hasta entonces Japón se convirtió en “La Nación Canalla”. And of course… Nanking was a horrendous Genocide committed by Japan, but, it was no more horrendous than the 12 Genocides committed by the United States in his History and all over the world. Nor was it less horrendous than the Genocide committed by King Leopold II of Belgium, in Central Africa. Nor was Nanking more or less horrendous than the Genocides that the British Empire committed in America, Africa, Australia, Middle East, India and also in China too. In the Philippines (1898-1902), the US Army produced a Genocide of One Million people dead. And now, the Japanese are our friends and allies… Yup… But, to fight against China, AGAIN!!! Well… No More. No More British Malaya nor British Borneo nor British wherever. No More French Indochina. No more Dutch Indies. No More Portugese Domains. No More US Domain here. Asia is for Asians and “The China Sea” belongs to CHINA. Westerns powers have nothing to do in Asia. .

Admiral William Halsey was definitely NOT MacArthur's deputy. His superior was Chester Nimitz, not "Dugout Doug" MacArthur. There may have been some co-ordination between them, but Halsey answered to Nimitz!
There wasn't a victory MacArthur celebrated unless he could weasel his way in to claim sole credit. There wasn't a loss he caused he hoped for anything more than an Aussie upon whom blame it. He was white trash, a pedophile with a 15 year old Filipino girlfriend.

Excellent documentary, but missing certain facts. The Soviet entry into the Pacific War was, perhaps, the most significant. The Japanese had hoped the Soviets would mediate their peace talks.
Don't forget to mention Eight Months before Pearl Harbor was bombed .REAL Australians gave the Japs and the Nazis their first and most significant defeat ! And i bet you haven't a clue what Battle .Without Googling !

I have a question that is not related to the content of this video. Why didn't the U.S. military attack the Japanese mainland from the north after occupying Kiska and Atz Islands? I have very little military knowledge, but even I feel that if they had attacked Japan from the north and south, the war would have ended much sooner
Admiral Halsey was not MacArthur's deputy. He was Admiral Nimitz's subordinate.

The Banzai charge on Saipan, night of July 6-7 1944, left approximately 4200 dead Japanese on the battlefield, not 3,000.
I've never before heard "napalm" pronounced like that. Not saying it's wrong, just never heard it.
The Japanese were foolish, and careless of their very valuable pilots and other personnel. They can thank their bravado for their defeat.
It was a great documentary and wonderful narration of Cartwheel operation…which was much complicated and carried sever internal steps…what was notable Japanese hadn't active responded and they hadn't logistical supported to their's military units…only leftovers them for fatal ,stubborn defensiveness ….thank you for sharing
