I was lucky enough to see a glacier calving while in Alaska last year. It's amazing to witness. First, a loud cracking noise followed by a bang like a shotgun being fired, then the ice falls.

I remember hearing a story of some explorer that found what he called the center of the earth. When he was exploring the Antarctic. Similar story. Don’t quote me on any of this. I might be getting a few stories jumbled together. Might explain how there are certain parts guarded by American military.

It very well could be possible if you consider the journal of Admiral Byrd's visit to the inner Earth during his visit to the Artic, the land beyond the north wind. This is an excellent story, true or not. I love mysteries, especially ones I've never heard before. Life needs mystery!

This’ll was an amazing story Carol Ann, masterfully told and one of my sons and I believe in “Middle Earth” or “Hollow Earth Theory” , kinda like how it’s portrayed in the recent Godzilla movies especially the last couple of movies, Godzilla vs Kong and Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire

@TheInBetweenTales Joel Kramer, a biblical archaeologist, hosts the YouTube channel Expedition Bible. In the episode "Searching for the Pishon RIver," Joel discovers the area described in Genesis where the Tigris, Euphrates, and a candidate for the Gihon river are. He follows a dry river bed which is a candidate for the Pishon river and it takes him to Southern Iraq. The evidence he presents for the actual physical location of Eden is compelling.
It is interesting the fantasy of the story turns arounds icebergs. It is possible the icebergs, the loss of the boat, being stranded on an iceberg, are all true. But Olaf's mind could not process all the trauma he encountered and replaced it with something more pleasant. In "The Life of Pi" the tiger was not real, it was a metaphor for the parts of Pi which were ruthless, violent and raging but must be kept at bay. I think a similar thing was in Olaf's story.
My guess is that it involves some form of ancient (to us) dimensional manipulation. Civilizations from long ago made the decision to create pockets of conditioned space to live in, in order to avoid eventual cataclysms.
Apparently there really are gigantic caverns that lead into an inner Earth with oceans that are even bigger then the oceans on the surface, and when I say inner Earth I don't mean hollow Earth which a lot of people mistakenly still assume, because there still is a molten iron core which goes further down even below these gigantic underground caverns, which means we only live on the outer crust of the Earth. Now as far as I know these underground Suns do exist from concentrations of molten lava at a variety of places down there and how many undergrounds suns there are in total still remains unknown. Unfortunately by the 1930s these underground entrances most likely have been sealed off as a result of Nazi Germany trying to find and penetrate into it's depths with the help of a criminal ET race who were trying to help the Nazi's in doing so from the location of Queen Maud Land at the south pole which they called Neucshadenland, but didn't seem to get any further then there. By 1952 this criminal ET race had actually split off into 2 different factions with around 2000 Nazi's who took refuge with them, from which afterword's they had attempted making contacts primary in North America, in the UK, in Italy and in Russia, etc, but under the guise of calling themselves Venusians, with a history which lasted up until 1958 and 1969 after the Americans had made attempts to nuke them at the South Pole in Queen Maud Land, with causing a consider amount of damage to Earth's Ozone layer, and Earth's geomantic poles from which more dyer effects have yet to come in the near future. The people under the Earth's surface are actually decedents of Hyperboreans and not Lemurians as most people still assume except for the ones still living today in Agharta located under Tibet, who are a race of blue people and the real decedents of Lemurians, known as the Suns of the son. The Hyperboreans also had lived under Mt Shasta and under more mountains in Alaska until they eventually left the Earth back in early 1995, while the criminal factions with the Nazi's were eventually apprehended by another ET race back in 1978 and again in around 1992 if I remember correctly, and they left no trace of their existence behind, but these hyperborean where more like 7 to 8 feet tall as apposed to them being at around 12 feet tall. Greenland was once Hyperborea from which even to this day it retains the name of Greenland since it once was known as the tropical place of eternal youth, while it was also called Ter Nan Og, it was once the home of beings we today still call angels, like that of Gabriel, etc, and following after the so called time of the crucifixion, this last remaining surface ET like colony had ceased to exist as they left Earth for good after that, however it's capital known as Thule still exists there and remains inhabited by Scandinavian people. Trying to find any last remaining hidden entrances to the inner Earth are practically now impossible as I've heard of people who have tried in getting down there but with no success since most of these people were not of good intentions, primarily involving Americans, however it also remains to be seen with global warming whether or not it will eventually become mush easier in eventually finding such signs as to where these past entrances to the giant caverns have been permanently sealed off where perhaps only tiny birds may know the way. Therefore I'm thinking that if there is still people down there then coming to close to these remaining hidden entrances may emit frequencies which can actually become quite harmful to those with bad intentions.
