A vanload of church volunteers drove along a main street in north Seattle one night last month with sandwiches, water bottles, and blankets for homeless people. They didnāt find any ā but they did see dozens of barely clothed women walking along the road or leaning into traffic to advertise their services.

Not Unusable 20 -30 years ago when aurora down 1st street was basically a Red Light District for Seattle .(Dems bring it back) . Democrats are moving us backwards. ALL of those Motels could be Converted to housing . But no Dems ruin the economy making criminals (Its big business to make criminals) so then they can write another BS crime Bill making poverty a crime.
This has been going on in that area for 40 years. Why are they only acting now?
It's time the city arrest people, and put them in jails and prisons so that way they get clean and hopefully a different outlook on life. Tough love, requires tough actions by the city, and the judges. I was never given any breaks, I can tell you that!
Crime moves. It will move to another hotel. Find another highway neighborhood. Crime is about opportunity. Real reductions to crime begins providing people with resources they need before they get to adulthood. On the other hand Seattle has a new and improved kiddy jail.š

I called the cops when a drugged up guy was harassing people asking for their receipts & products & stocked me he followed me all the way to the store I ask the store manager if I can stay there until the cops show up and he didn't say anything back I'm going to call 911 the dispatcher said that the cops aren't going to show up for that I just waited a while and then walked outside the store and one of the store workers said to not ever come back in the building again instead we don't want your kind here and I said what do you mean by your kind he said homeless people I said I'm not homeless I live in apartment Humanity ReStore because a homeless drugged-up guy was stalking me and scaring me and he he just said whatever just don't come into our store I called the owner and complained and they said that was wrong of him to treat me like that he assumed I was homeless cuz I was carrying one of those wheeled grocery carriers cuz I'm on disability for a bone marrow condition and I can't carry my groceries very far and then another day there was a guy homeless and drugged up was walking across the streets walking up to cars that have stopped cuz of the red light and he would talk to the driver and threaten their lives smack the car then go to another car and do the same thing this was in League City by Fred Meyer's and I didn't bother to call 911 because they're not going to send anybody, the only reason the cops came this time his cousin ambulance was damaged and a lot of these drug addicts don't go to the shelters anymore because they get bard I'm doing violence to others also their shelters that have been shut down for doing this and several of the homeless people are suing the management and some of the nice staff members admitted that there's corruption going on with the management and some of the staff and they're not happy about it some of the staff make you pay twenty bucks to get your stuff back even though that's not a part of protocol for certain amount of time they took away the disability bathroom from many disabled who got beat up in the regular bathrooms from drug addicts cuz they are weak and susceptible to getting robbed the shelter eventually got shut down cuz they won't fixing things there was electric Outlets not working and the pipe burst and fires being said and was overcrowded diseased my friend got meningitis and he was in the hospital for two months and the staff stole his wallet I told him that he left his wallet by itself could they grabbed it and save it for him and they said they found it and it was safe and we got out of the hospital two months later they said it was never saved and the whole time so I was stealing money out of his account cuz he was not very logical he left us with security security number and the code in the debit card in the same wallet can you try to get ahold of the company to cancel the card and it took him months to cancel it couldn't get ahold of anybody got to go to a specialist that knows how to get ahold of companies that avoid do just to get his card redone and it took me a half hour to convince them to send my friend to the hospital he stopped breathing in the ambulance but they revived him and I can't believe they were debating that it was obviously that he was out of it and people get raped sexually harassed robbed beat up other clients try to get other clients kicked out they'll say that you stole something of theirs even if you didn't if you're not a drug addict the drug dealers that live there try to kick pressure you to leave won't let you shower I told staff and they did nothing about it don't do much about it and it takes forever to get to you when you're getting beat up in the bathroom and blocked from leaving you're Black and blue with a concussion by the time they get in there to save you
why is prostitution illegal? Drugs are legal, theft is legal, vagrancy is legal. This is ridicuous.
Many American men like me with European experience will tell you that legalization of sex work is the key to solving many of America's social problems. Germany, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Greece, Central Europe, etc…all have completely legalized sex work and benefited from it. But because life differs so much from state to state in America, only very few states will probably try to adopt a legal sex work policy like Nevada. š¤

Back in 2006 I was like 19 and didnāt know too much about what went down on aurora just that it was kind of a cheap place; me and my ex gf went to that hotel thinking it would be a cheap place to stay for the night; āhmm weird they have hourly rates, wonder why they would do thatā ā¦ we get in and itās a mess blood on the carpet, sheet stains the bathroom looked like it wasnāt clean, smelled nasty; ā¦ I went and asked if I could get refunded after 5 minutes there thinking they wouldnāt but the guy didnāt hesitate to give me my money backā¦ that area of Seattle has always been a shit hole

Seattle officially joined the ranks of the sh*tholes like San Fran and Portland just before the Seattle mayor's "Summer of Love". Since then it has been on what is actually a fairly steep decline.

Can't wait to move outta the sound 1 day. The corruption is real here. I'm looking at country land instead. Beautiful landscapes with no annoying traffic or trash. Only sometimes the occasional drug addicts would maybe find their way in however they also have police that actually arrest them too. I like to go camping and hiking away from this mess. Seattle is dead.
