Salt, Tarragon, Starmetal*, motes*,all legendaries. Buy out everything, sell it, someone undercutting you? undercut them ASAP till they drop the price where you're willing to buy them out. It's simple, pick a valued resource, create a monopoly.

Nooooooooo! This has been my secret gem farm area.
I also fill my reek bank with honey and hit the orich in the south when it's slow time on server, but been using basically this route for a while, it's great.
Make sure you eat your food as you farm, you animals keep me busy!

Slightly to the south of this route there is 37 hemp nodes and about 10+ wireweave, might be worth grabbing that before the platinum round the den.
