THE POETS

*GREG BLISS* is cofounder of the Michigan Shakespeare Festival, a four-time competitor at the National Poetry Slam, and curator of poetry events throughout West Michigan.

*PATRICIA CLARK* is a poet and Professor Emerita of Writing, Grand Valley State University. Her most recent book is: _Self-Portrait with a Million Dollars_ (Terrapin, 2020)

*DAVID COPE* is a former Poet Laureate of Grand Rapids, a Puahcart Prize winner, a GRCC Distinguished Alumni, and a recipient of an American Academy/Institute award in literature. He has published nine books, most recently _The Correspondence of David Cope and Allen Ginsberg_, 1976-1996.

*MARCIA DAVIS* is a writer living in Holland, Michigan. Her poem, _Kinship_, was published in _Driftwood, A Review of Michigan Writing_.

*NELLIE deVRIES*

*LINDA NEMEC FOSTER* is the author of 12 collections of poetry including _The Blue Divide_ (2021) and _The Lake Michigan Mermaid_ (2019 Michigan Notable Book) which was created with co-author Anne-Marie Oomen and artist Meridith Ridl. She is the inaugural Poet Laureate of Grand Rapids (2003-2005).

*JOY GAINES-FRIEDLER* is the author of three books of poetry and the chapbook _Stone on Your Stone_. Joy teaches Creative Writing privately and for “at risk” communities including The Prison Creative Arts Project and Freedom House Detroit for refugees and asylum seekers.

*BILL HOLM* writes poems from Holland, Michigan.

*REKA JELLEMA* is author of a collection of poems, _This Living_, and co-author of _At The Edge of Forget_, a book of poems written collaboratively. She lives in Holland with her husband and dogs. 

*KATIE KALISZ* is the author of one book length poetry collection, entitled _Quiet Woman_.

*NEIL KAUFMAN* has published several books of poetry, most recently _Highlights of the Spirit_, and recently digitally released a spoken word/music album, _Bizarrt_.

*GF KORRECK* is the editor of busy griefs, raw towns. He is the author of _Lowell Diary_, a walk with Kerouac’s ghost, and editor of the anthology _Sins & Felonies_.

*DAVID W. LANDRUM* taught for many years at Cornerstone University and at Grand Valley State University. His poetry, literary criticism, and fiction have appeared widely in journals in the US, UK, Europe, and in English-language journals in Hong Kong, Singapore, Israel, and Nepal. 

*ELIZABETH MCBRIDE* is the author of _Most Beautiful_, a collection of poetry and prose about the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore of Michigan and its surrounding areas.

*MARY MCKSCHMIDT* is the author of _Uncharted Waters: Romance, Adventure and Advocacy on the Great Lakes_. 

*MURSALATA MUHAMMAD* is a poet and English professor at Grand Rapids Community College. Her research and teaching interests focus on human literacy, educational equity, and social justice in education policy.

*JEFF MUNROE* is editor of the Reformed Journal and author of _Reading Buechner_.

*JACK RIDL*, the Carnegie Foundation’s former Michigan Professor of the Year, has had more than a hundred of his students become published writers.

*BARBARA SAUNIER* has published in numerous journals and reviews, including Poet Lore, Cream City, Spoon River, and Nimrod International.  Her work also placed first in The MacGuffin 16th National Poet Hunt.  See a small selection of her work at barbarasaunier.com.
