Does anybody else find a weird meta developing in your regular game group? Weird trends like everybody fixating on specific unit types to the exclusion of all else?

Just realized something as a Drukhari player.
Incubi. Everybody loves em. Some of the COOLEST minis GW ever made. In lore? They are said to be mercenaries for hire, predominantly hired by Archons as bodyguards because they are the ONLY Drukhari who uphold their word with honor.
And yet, for some inexplicable reason, in 10th, you CANNOT have an Archon attach to a squad of Incubi.
Bruh.exe.
For the Black Templar List, Helbrect and the Castellan are with Sword Brethren, Grimaldus with Crusader Squad. Hellblasters in the Impulsor Taxi!!

As a sisters player, I hate that list so much. It is antithetical of my idea of what sisters should be.
It is very depressing and I hope that GW do not see this as a way to justify less help for sisters because there is one way in which they can actually snatch some victories with some point shenanigans.
At least for me, this is not the play style that I want for my sisters army.
If I wanted only vehicles, I would play with my Tau army. I do not need Tau and Tau light (and worse).
What is the Detachment Faction for the LoV list?
could be a typo, but if that votann list is correct there may have been a little misplays due to the fine print. It says there that the E-champ has the teleport crest even tho he clearly doesnt have a unit to lead(there is only one unit between the two of them to lead and the kahl has the long list so he is 100% leading that 1 man of hearthguard) This implies that he used the E-champ to not only walk around by himself to do objectives BUT also deepstrike him in key positions. The issue here is the teleport crest specifically says "while the bearer is leading a unit, models in the unit have deepstrike" but since he is obviously not leading a unit, he isnt able to deepstrike and should just have the weavefield crest instead.
Not to poop on anyone's parade, but a 60pt unit able to show up and get engage/ deploy teleport homers could have made the difference in a lot of his games unfortunately.
But I wasnt there so it could just be a typo and they played it correctly with the weavefield crest, hard to say.
I'm bring an all guard tank list to a tournament on sunday. 6 Russ, 1 tank commander and 1 rogal. So far bringing tank only armies has been very sucessful. Space marines did great and of course eldar tank list was extreamly OP only losing to another elder player. Wish me luck guys, After this i'm going with my sisters. with 1500 points you can take 6 immolators, 2 exorsists and 2 castigaotrs and still have the points to load up each transport with a cheap character. This is about the only list I feel is going to be possible to do well with playing sisters.
okay so a friend and myself were talking about 40k and how their phasing out older models…we think the next big EVENT in 40k lore/tabletop is going to be a farely large psychic push – we're thinking 1k Sons, Grey Knights, Eldar and Daemons. We're not sure on the narrative, BUT it would allow Games Workshop to phase out some pretty old models and replace them with things like Primaris…
Death Company with jet packs and Lemartes is much better than San guard for the cost.

For the AdMech list. There are about 480 dollars worth of Ironstriders in that list. They equal 460 points worth of units in the game.

I think Tau dropped to much. I play them and run into two issues, I need to speand even more money to get a full 2k army and there are now to many things running aaround for my opporent to deal with.

RE: Ultramarines list, it also included a Callidus Assassin and a 4 model squad of Inquisitorial Henchmen.
Blood Angels don't even feel like Blood Angels anymore
It looks like that Ultramarine list is 130pts under unless I'm adding it up wrong
CORRECTION: Missed that the Ultramarines list ALSO has a Callidus Assassin and Inquisitorial Henchmen for 40pts – some good secondary support there!
Using Assault squads in the Ravenguard list is very temporary, considering they are gone soon.
That admech list is over a thousand dollars of plastic. Striders coming back into style aren't nice on the ole wallet >_>
Hello, I'm Gispano 😀, the player on the Death Guard list shown in the video, thank you for sharing my list Auspex tactics, I'm seeing that many players have complained because I don't have 100% Death Guard and that I invest a lot of points in War dogs, but currently in the competitive, you have to look for the best options to be able to score better and the Karnivoros war dogs give a lot of mobility to the Death Guard, apart from the combat damage they have 👌.

Good to see Admech getting 5th! I didnt think they would place at all with the extremely underwhelming rules GW had its interns write this edition. They clearly have no idea how to fix admech and will probably just do point drops untill they are less elite than guard.

Why bring axes on Allarus Custodians? It is worse than spear in almost all scenarios.
