Kojima, Imai, Fujita, Ideguchi, and Tokuchi were having their drinks. They talked that Ideguchi didn’t attempt to stop Tokuchi’s recklessness. Ideguchi attempted but he didn’t. Tokuchi said that it was impossible for Johnson to win, because his muscles were exhausted. He even mentioned that Manager Shirooka hinted at this weakness during his conference. That is: How come the world’s fastest base runner didn’t become the world’s fastest man? The world’s fastest man should know the answer.

Tokuchi looked up for information about the world’s fastest man, Joe Carrighan. Carrighan said that human’s lower body muscles are not capable of maintaining the top form for entire 10 seconds of 100m run, but how come Carrighan can keep the top form for 10 seconds?
It’s all about techniques. Carrighan focused his driving power onto quadriceps, but when he reached the limit, he used the tensor fasciae latae and sartorius muscle for driving power, even external oblique muscles and abs to maintain top speed in the end, and because of that, their power can be fully utilized to run to the finish line. Carrighan said that he needed 10 years to master this running form.

If what Carrighan said is true, then exhausting Johnson’s muscles becomes mandatory, and as long as he dashes repeatedly, his muscles will tire out every time. Tokuchi experimented in the second game by making Johnson run as much as possible then asked the trainer to record his times. The result is like what Tokuchi predicted. Tokuchi put Johnson on base with dead ball, actually to tire out Johnson’s muscles. Kojima gaped while praising Tokuchi.
3:29
Hey look at them three :v .Kojima kept praising Tokuchi, but after that, Tokuchi said that there’s another tactic, simpler than used tactic before. Kojima didn’t know, nor did we.

Two consecutive games at Saitama against Fingers were cancelled due to rain. Kojima stayed at stadium to watch Bugaboos vs BlueMars, Lycaons’ next opponent.
4:43
Saikawa threw the asthray at Manager Mihara for not ignoring his orders. He even made a bet. He won’t give any orders to Manager Mihara in following 3 consecutive games against BlueMars, but if Manager Mihara loses, 50% of his yearly salary will be deducted as penalty, and he has to follow Saikawa’s orders.
5:44
3 to 2. BlueMars were leading, and it’s 7th inning. Bugaboos have no outs and runners on 1st and 3rd base, and the pinch runner is Johnson. Johnson managed to steal home and tied the score, but got injured due to accident with BlueMars’ catcher. The catcher faked his own injuries to avoid suspicion. Tokuchi couldn’t wait for the game that’ll keep him excited.
7:30
Saikawa was discussing business with someone I think similar to Manager Shirooka. He planned to destroy Tokuchi, but lemme tell you, he’ll end up worst than what you think.
8:20
There’s gathering, the coach was explaining about Kobe BlueMars, which has had major transformation after the current owner took over the team. Those transformations are building the Kobe Mars Stadium, hiring Manager Tendou (the world’s home run champion), and acquire a lot of foreign players, in which two of them are Pedro Rodrigo and Scott Williams.
10:44
Tokuchi wondered and asked to Ideguchi and Imai what kinda pitch Williams pitched. It’s knuckleball, and here we’re introduced what knuckleball is. Tokuchi also said that it’s really weird that BlueMars’, the strongest team at home, can’t even win half of their away games. Ideguchi explained that it can be related to artificial and real turf. Five out of 6 teams have artificial turf 90% at their home stadium, but BlueMars are only playing on artificial turf 50%.
12:32
Tokuchi was still there, watching the video. He saw that players of BlueMars in the video were all cheating. Nothing seems to be natural. The way they’re cheating may be dreadfully bold and occurs in an organized manner, and even worst, the Mars Stadium is a stadium full of tricks. Can Tokuchi reveal all those tricks?
13:42
At Mars Stadium, BlueMars were having their practice. BlueMars’ players always greet their opponents before the game, but it was just to camouflage their cheats. Meanwhile, at Saikawa’s room, Saikawa told Oikawa that he found the way to completely erase his debt, but trust me, he’ll end up having bankruptcy.
15:27
The game began with the starting pitcher, Harada and Kajiwara, who had no good ball control. The game continued until the 3rd inning, and Lycaons had huge lead by 7, but it didn’t last long. Two runners of BlueMars managed to return home, then Rodrigo made two runs and one home run. BlueMars managed to tie the score!
20:03
Lycaons’ players’ face expression turn 180 degrees. The next pitcher is Williams, and looks like he’ll show his knuckleball. Will Lycaons lose the first match again just like against Bugaboos? We’ll see in the next episode.
