Just wanted to point out the version you all listened to was the 2002 reissue. Bob Daisley was the original bassist and Lee Kerslake was the original drummer on the album but in 2002 Ozzy's wife Sharon actually had the bass and the drum parts re-recorded by Mike Bordin and Robert Trujillo. Eventually it was corrected though and the 30th anniversary release of Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman contains the original recordings, not the 2002 reissues
The masterful Randy Rhoades!!
Any of his songs from his first two albums are Randy Rhoades as guitarist. These need to be heard from the live album entitled Ozzy Osbourne's Tribute To Randy Rhoades. Randy shined like a Super Nova live. You won't be disappointed.
Randy Rhodes is the star of this show. 😊
I knew a guy who went to grammar school with Ozzy. He told me that when they were learning the alphabet, he got H and Ozzy got I I I 😂😅❤
Ozzy bit the head off a bat (a winged bat, not a baseball bat) back in the day in concert!!! Crazeee stuff!!!
Something really good and different from him is "Close my eves forever" feat Lita Ford.
Ozzy guitarist Randy Rhodes and Eddie Van Halen were the top guitarists back in the day!!!
I think I always thought dark and creepy because one of the first things I heard about him was when he bit the head off of a bat!🦇 A quite interesting first impression!😅 Perfect song for that impression! Awesome group, awesome songs!!❤❤
awesome song, i think it was one of the jumanji trailers
hollywood undead also sampled it on undead (out the way) kanye west sampled it and ty dolla sign has a couple songs that sample, one of them is for kanyes album
🎶 Over The Mountain 🎶 Diary of a Madman 1981 Randy Rhoads guitar.
If you want to hear a Fantastic cover of this give a listen to. Liliac !
Noice.
You've got to react to ozzy osbourne – Mr crowley. Two great solos
I miss Randy Rip.
This is the best song Ozzy ever sang, not only because of the great musicians, but also the fantastic lyrics. They are spot on. That's only my opinion of course!
Randy is the GOAT IMO!
RIP Randy.
Other hard songs from the debut: No Bone Movies, Suicide Solution, I Don’t Know and Steal Away.
After all these years…the guitar is still so damn great…RIP Randy Rhoads.
I saw Blizzard of Ozz both nights at the Hammersmith odeon London 1980 with Budgie as the support great memories
Ive allways loved the slower Mama im coming home from Ozzy but there are so many good ones so you really cant go wrong whichever song you chose next.
I remember when Ironman first came out on the radio and the announcer said this is a new style of rock and roll we'll call metal because it is so electronic. I didn't know what he meant at the time, but I loved the lyrics and Ozzie's voice. No one mentions that today but Ozzie did start the whole sound.
My favorite. Also the Patriot entrance song. Was awesome the year he sang it live for the Pats opening night 2005
great seeing him live hes a great entertainer and the crowd really get into it killer drums and guitar !!
Awesome reaction guys! Randy only did 2 albums with Oz before his death, but they are staples in the metal community. Randy will always be one of the best ever!!! Many don't remember that before Quiet Riot made it, Randy was their guitar player before joining Ozzy. Try the song Over The Mountain, or Flying High Again. 🍻🤟👏
This is a top 5 guitar solo imo. Sooooo good.
Flyin High Again, Over the Mountain, No More Tears, Mr Tinkertrain, Suicide Solution, Crazy Babies, I Don't Know…for starters
u gotta do black sabbath – sabbath bloody sabbath or snowblind;)
The Blue Man Group doing this song is super special too.
