That bears are slow is a myth.
I feel a bit sad about this fight. I somehow skipped the second phase. He got staggered during transformation. Not sure it was intended or bugged. And killed him first try (with the help of Jellyfish and Nepheli). Never got the chance to see his cool moves. I am watching other people fight him. He is insane.
That dude kicking God Rick was the one who locked u in with that banished knight also he follows u in storm veil and steals ur runes when u die if u kill him u get all the runes back

Godrick is a brutal fight. He caught me so many times with that stormsurge attack. At least the shockwave is telegraphed, even if it does do crazy high damage. He has an amazing second phase.
I love this game but my save got corrupted for the second time and so for the second time I've lost all my progress. I think I'm done playing it for a long time now

tip, those spirits you can summon like the jellyfish the soldiers etc. ABUSE THE SHIT OUT OF THEM. theyre incredibly helpful throughout the game! and your physick you can use that every time you rest at a site of grace, use that too!
I love this boss honestly:
good fight, god tier soundtrack, superb voice acting, and this mf is batshit insane, which I love to see when hes lmaoing stomping my ass,also the same bossfight explains to you alot of Godrick: a madman that is too weak to be a good fighter by himself so he takes the easy way grafting lots of shit into his body, and the funniest thing for me is when he grafts the "dragons" head saying "truests of dragons", its so well done man, fromsoftware did it again, masterpiece.
Its amazing for me to say that I finally found a good open world game, and its Elden Ring.
Because there are a lot of people who are not good with sarcasm; Do no listen to Prod's advice about running from bears… They will find you, they will catch you, and they will kill you!… or just beat you brutally…

People really get caught by Margit's really delayed 1 hit downward swing since most people think he'll quickly bust it but no, he'll really take his sweet time raising that staff only to swing once downward, one of his really exploitable moves up until the second phase.
The half health cutscene Godrick has is right up there with Ludwig finding the Moonlight GS. Fucking brilliant.

His OST and fight are definitely up there with the greats. In fact, in my opinion and I admit it is only my opinion, that I think he’s the best fight of all the games. In fact I would say this is certain, except From copy and pasted him into an evergael and his fight has now been soured for me a tiny bit and I FUCKING CANT STAND IT 😡 😡 😡
