  1. In GoG it give you Unknown Space and the original Starcom in one package, to be honest, I really had forgotten about this game, till Unknown Space come out, I really loved the first game, even that I didn't understand the mechanics in the beginning, now that I do, is really fun, this is the kind of indie space game that I like, the ship combat can be brutal, but compared to Highfleet is way more easier.

  2. One of earths first early extinction events was the 'Great Oxidation Event'. Until then all life on earth was anaerobic. Then 2.7 billion years ago the first oxygen producing microorganisms, cyanobacteria, came into existence. That oxidation event wiped out the vast majority of earths anaerobic life.
Now, anaerobes thrive in areas like deep sediments where oxygen has been depleted. And all major forms of life which has evolved since focused on being aerobic.

  3. This was a really good game. the depth of the storyline and so much to discover. the really cool thing is it really does include nostalgia from asteroids blowing up rocks!. this game might have a 3rd on the way from the ending and im very much excited for that as well.

  4. There's a game I played as a kid a long time ago (I am 47 now) and forever I could not remember the name of it. This game looks VERY similar. I found a review of this game on Steam that mentioned the name of the game I had been trying to find. It was Solar Winds. This game is lot like that. Looks so fun – gonna buy immediately.

    Anyone else play Solar Winds?

  5. This reminds me of Star Control II from 1992. Still fun to play to this day. There was an updated version I played, and I think there's a version on Steam that is still being updated by the original creators. I've played it many times since 1992 and I've never finished the game. It's too big.
