One of America’s most banned authors: the U.S. has an issue with the truth

This has never been more evident. Truth doesnt matter to allot of people in our country. They live in a bubble of fox news and news max. Which then gets distributed on social media and multiplied. It's an epidemic of bs along with the epidemic of heroin fentanyl.
But they are ok with tearing down statues, ripping names off of buildings, renaming Military bases? Who has an issue with the truth and trying not to teach history?
The GOP is America's Taliban. Pay attention.
Soon the only book you'll find in a library will be Hitler's MEIN KAMPF
Thought they were gonna say Dr. Suess..
Anyone ever thought too simply not read the books? As in not taking it off the shelf?
All of these books are available for purchase in Florida, to include Escambia County. The government, in fact, has control over what books are provided in government schools. These lawsuits will quickly get thrown out.
You are all being played. He is getting free advertising and hopes to sell more copies of his book, because it isn't banned. Go borrow a copy from West Florida Public Library in Escambia County. It is available for free in the public library of the very County this school board is in.
If you're defending someone for banning books then you're on the wrong side of history. And the person you're defending against wants more books banned then that person is a fascist.
You can't ban bits and bytes. Get an e-library card from any of the many libraries across the country that offer them so you can check out e-books even if you live in one of these fascist states. E-books can cross city limits, country lines and state lines with ease. Open and expand your mind.
The surest way to get your kids to read something is to tell them they can't read it. These culture wars might actually be a boon to the "banned authors".
I guess the new definition of freedom is the ability to insulate yourself from the real world because heaven forbid one would dare to engage with another on any subject that might be deemed too controversial to read or think about, like ones own inability to deal with reality as one example.
🤦♀️ I wonder when politicians are going to ban anime and cartoons that feature LGBTQ, coloured or eastern characters?
Hey Rabbi watchya doin
Not all is true but not all isn't. Any books that are inappropriate for kids should be out the school system.
Those parents are ignorant's on what's really going on inside the school's.
You can learn this stuff at home. There's a lot of things that are true…but not suitable for young people…if you want to put it in the high schools fine but not innocent elementary school children they don't need to be thinking about anything like that….who does that ?
We need to STOP the right-wing's war against transgender youth and adults!! The ONLY "agenda" that trans people have, is to be free to live their lives, no differently from anybody else's!! 🏳⚧🏳⚧🏳⚧
I listened to All boys are not blue and I loved it. 😊I am definitely going to buy it and add it to my collection 😊
Banning books goes against freedom of speech. Unless that book is the Bible, then the banning is justified.
They not baning guns #1 killer in America
It's time to raise people vote out the Republicans
If a few guys in sheets were to visit those who want to ban books would they get that message?
Book banning and burning has always been the tool of oppression. The free exchange of ideas falls under my freedoms! Lately, I have had more than one right taken away from me and I am tired of this. Register and vote 💙
Some books and advertising should be banned.
McDonald's ads and racist groups should be censored and banned..
You defend hate speech you defend hate crimes.
I just thought of a compromise. Flag the books that they're worried about, and have parents sign permission slips to take them out of the library.
But truthfully any kid over the age of 14 should be able to read anything they want. I bought my grandson the Harry Potter series because his other grandmother forbid him from reading them. I was selling hard copies of them at a yard sale a few years back and a girl came up to me, probably about 15 years old, and said her mother wouldn't let her read them. I sold them to her for a dollar apiece and told her to keep them at her dad's house.
We need to ban math books in schools
