  1. ΟΚ I will try to explain some things you have showed to this video. In about the ninth minute of the video you are showing an artificial kind of cave which I believe it serves as a ‘’Cell’’ for the female monks. Oftenly there have been descriptions where monks seek asylum to cracks in rocks or in small caves and thus I believe that was the resting every day place for a monk.

  2. As nice as the things you saw were, I must say that attractions, culture and history that Ikaria has to offer are unmatched by any other place. I would highly encourage you to re-visit sometime. Also since your fanbase has grown this much it would be a great idea to ask whether any of your fans local to the place you want to visit want to help you explore it. It would give you so much insight on what you see and in general make the experience better and more valuable! love from Greece

  4. Oh… it's so nice! Like i told you anyone can build a cherch no matter how small and let's not forget that Turks hunted Greeks up to the mountains the monastery there it was not only for worship of God but also protection from pirates and Turks.

  5. Too bad dolmadakia wasnt served along with yogurt as it should be on a hot summer day. Ikaria is famous about their festivals and dances while "Ikariotikos" meaning "from Ikaria" carries a significant communal value and its danced all over the islands in many occations. If it happens that you see/learn that one of those festivals taking place you will regreat it if you miss it.

  7. I would appreciate it if tourists were able to treat churches as places of worship, not "attractions", no matter how picturesque they are. It is quite disturbing to witness such callousness.
