Days after Indian Army’s assault dog Zoom died after an encounter in J&K’s Anantnag, footage of the combat operation has now emerged. It shows forces gunning down a Lashkar terrorist after Zoom tracked them on Oct 10. During the operation, Zoom played a key role in not only identifying the precise location of the terrorists, but also in disabling one of the terrorist. However, the intrepid canine in the process suffered 2 gunshots. Watch this video for more information.

  4. I think that video is not of the terrorist but a army's practise session video. If it was the real terrorist them would he have worn the thick hand bite protection gear, which is worn for protection against dog bite during trainings??

Till the first shot his instinct and training would have helped but after that I believe it was his sheer bravery and will power beyond the call of duty.Zoom will continue to inspire the species (humans) far higher in evolution ladder.Proud of Indian army for celebrating the bravery of the cannine.

This is very emotional moment fr me to imagine n see now..Heart breaking…Koti Koti Naman to Zoom n his handlers n the entire Army n its bravehearts n there families who regularly lose there loved ones fr our sake n to protect us..Indian Army is the best and even carry out relief n rescue work during natural calamities riots war n all disasters..Unbelievable Highly Inspiring Motivating..

  22. एक विचार |Army को पता था कि आतंकवादी हैं, भले ही वे बंदूकें ले जा रहे हों, उन्होंने कुत्ते को भेजा। किस लिए? मारने के लिए नहीं? गूंगे जानवर को मौत के जबड़े में धकेल दिया। बेचारे को बंदूक का असर नहीं पता था। नहीं तो वह नहीं जाता। आतंकवादी थोड़ी देर बाद मर जाता। लेकिन जानवरों के लिए कोई नियम नहीं हैं |उसे मारने और सलाम करने और समाधि बनाने से क्या फायदा, इतना प्यार होता तो मौत के घाट नहीं भेजा जाता।
