Yup, let's face it, there was only one way this fight was going to end. As a huge fan of both The Boys and Invincible, it was an honor to be able to provide the voice and performance of Homelander, in a battle against Omni-Man no less. If you thought watching Homelander get bodied was satisfying, imagine how fun and satisfying it was acting it out. Thank you for having me!

I assume Omni could tank the blast because he's naturally powerful thanks to his supe atoms.
Point is Homelander is so much more weaker than Omni thanks to S3.
i'd like to think in that alternate universe omni man realises what it means to lose someone they love so they dont even have that evil arc to begin with
holy I just wanna thank you for that I cant believe you guys animated that entire fight scene with lines the characters would actually say, you guys got it spot on that stuff could totally happen I loved the part where omni man was gonna let a plane fly straight into Homelander except he used his laser eyes to destroy it. so accurate he would definitely do that in a real fight neither cares for any human life, overall very impressive! SUPSCRIBED!!!
I'm convinced the people who requested this fight knew Omni-Man was going to win and they just wanted to see Homelander get curb stomped.
I was hoping Omni-Man would’ve said “Merry Christmas ya filthy animal”
It's cool to re watch this after season 3 (spoilers btw) and look at Homelanders confrontation with Soldier Boy and Suped up Butcher, That fight in the show perfect matched with the idea that Homelander would be shaken and wouldn't know what to do with an enemy in his weight class. Really interesting to see his untouchable power and ego being weakened.
Omni-man be like: nah you're not Homelander. I'll make you Homeless-lander
Ah, it's nice that Omni-Man took his time to make it both painful AND humiliating for Homelander.

I will watch Invincible but never The Boys but I still wonder why they didn’t try to kill him as a baby by like putting him unconscious and blasting him into the Sun?

Pretty sure HL wouldn't be able to make omni man bleed with his laser or with his punches. It took like 5 HL-level characters to kind of beat up the omni man for few seconds.
Homelander never really stood a chance, even if he were as powerful as Omniman, he's never been tested or pushed to his limit. Queen Maive went toe to toe against him once but it's always been made clear that he vastly out powers her. Apart from that and 2 clashes with Soldier Boy neither of which went the distance (the boys didn't beat him they just held him down and even then he escaped the killing blow and the second fight turned into Boys vs Soldier Boy and Maive vs Homelander) but Omniman defeated a team of heroes and had many wars before that and a huge battle with his son of similar power.
