  1. There were references about Ford throughout the show before his reveal.

    Like;

    – the shocked reaction of Stanley upon seeing the wax statue and when the statue was murdered, he never really got to grieve and do a memorial the first time,

    – the six fingered gloves,

    – the glasses he subtly picked up in Carpet Diem. He didn't care anymore that Mabel and Dipper were still fighting in the other room when he was all about fighting at the beginning of the episode,

    – "Can it, Poindexter." When he was reading the warnings in the Journal,

    – the shapeshifter who mentions a six fingered freak,

    – He admitted to committing tax fraud because he was using Stanford's name and not his own,

    – during his memory of his boxing lesson, you could see Ford reading a book in the background,

    – But the biggest clue that Stanley has a twin brother, for me at least, that was right in front of us the whole time was Dipper and Mabel. Twins can be passed down in families.

    Anything else I missed?

  2. In "Legend of the Gobblewonker" the license plate says "STNLYMBL"

In "Headhunters" the reason why Stan loved his wax replica of himself is because it represents his brother.

God, this show is so good.

  3. 9:50 You've heard Fiddleford say this once before during the Society of the Blind Eye episode, but this time he speaks the cipher backwards. The cipher is "YROO XRKSVI! GIRZMTOV!", which translates to "Bill Cipher! Triangle!"

  5. Out of all the untold mysteries left in “Gravity Falls”, the chewing a way out of the trunk of a car is the one I would like touched up on the most. Seriously, what kind of situation did Stanley get into for that to happen?

  6. One little interesting bit of lore about Stan and Gideon. The reason Stan instantly knew that Gideon was a fraud Psychic is that Gideon always called him Stanford. Where if he was legit, he would have known that his name was Stanley. So many little things throughout this series that make it even more satisfying.

  7. Alex Hirsch did an AMA in character as Bill Cipher a few years ago after this episode came out, and it was revealed that when Fiddleford went into the portal, he saw Bill’s true interdimensional demonic form because he had apparently “removed his exoskeleton to feed”

  8. It's so hard for me to explain it into words but there's so many layers to ford and fiddlefords relationship that we just don't get to see in the show, like in the journal there's so much content it's wonderful. There my favourite crazy mad scientists who need therapy so bad

  9. There were originally twenty episodes of season 2 of Gravity Falls but one extra long episode got spilt into half on disney plus to make twenty one episodes.

  10. i like how both stans have reasonable cause for their disagreement, ford is like it's your fault i was in there and this was dangerous, stan is like bro i just spent 30 years of my life bringing you back and you can't even say thanks?

  11. 6:34, shermie is their grandfather not grandmother as Mabel n dipper share the last name pines with Stan n Ford, the only plausible cause is that the baby is Mabel and dippers dad becuz if the baby is shermie then that means their was 2 generations of teen parents in the pines family since Mabel n dipper we’re born in 1999 n we see the baby in the late 60s

  12. By the way, the line about Fiddleford wasting his time in a garage in Palo Alto, CA is likely a reference to how HP, the computer manufacturer, was formed. William Hewlett and and David Packard, HP's namesakes, had their first "office" in a Palo Alto garage. I guess Fiddleford could've been a third person in their partnership had he not taken Ford's deal.
