  1. So I have been running this commander for a while and I think the way to go is heavy attack triggers with ways to apply haste. Myriad shines in this deck when playing with friends, I found a combo that I didn't see in the deck that is very strong otk potential. Pair Two-Handed Axe with any myriad doubles their power twice before the myriad effect triggers. Now use the creature Eltruel Survivors that has Myriad and Trample with +X/0 for each land defending player has……. do you see the crazy swing you can make? I used it on my friends and they were all in disbelief lol

  2. if you want to spend a lot on one card the double combat would be very strong is you have a lot of mana cause you can swing them swing so with the golden pig you'd be getting 16+ cards depending on how many times you use it

  3. I use this commander with mentor cards and eldrazi's annihilator ability. so annihilator become crazy and the mentor of the smaller creatures allows you to build you're board and get the manner to setup for the high costing eldrazi. plus mentor triggering multiple times gets pretty out of hand, I've won a few times just on my mentor cards alone

  4. this looks fun great deck!
i have been building and changing my isshin deck about 10 times from goading over pillowforting to additional combat and i gotta say kindred charge is a super busted card for any isshin deck that has some kind of a tribal synergy (for me having about 15-20 creatures that share a type usually work but it really depends on the tribe tho). tribes to consider are goblins (superbroken and a lot of fun to use), humans (WINOTA oh yeah and tokens + anthems) and obviously eldrazi which is just stupid. i would't advice you to go all in on eldrazi this causes pretty miserable games from my experience but for my fellow tergrid lovers out there this is a cool timmy version of a tergrid deck 😀

  5. Isshin, Two Heavens as One is a neat commander, but i disagree with alot of your choices, however, i know your intending to look at budget options. There are a handful of creatures that have an attack trigger that causes an additional combat phase, i would lean on that. Ramp, Tutors, Haste, then establish infinite combat triggers. You say Etali is the "golden pig" but let's be real, Combat Celebrant would be if it wasn't about $20.

  6. I built Ishin and I run Godo, Bandit Warlord, Aurelia the War Leader, and Raiyuu, Storm's Edge. Three Attacks once a turn and that's not including other board effects. Breena, the Demagogue and Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant also provide some nice "opponent attack triggers" for Ishin. I love this commander and just how aggressive it can be.

  7. Head's up for all you amazing MTG player's, I currently got 2 Roleplay ASMR Audios in the making, about a girl that's dating a guy who teaches her to play the card game, I got a feeling that a bunch of you will like it ☺️💕

  8. Would love to see a more permissive budget version of a lot of these deck builds (not a busted limitless $ version with super obvious staples though). There are some fun ideas here, but my playgroup would wreck this build.

  9. I don't know how much it is off the top of my head, but Coastline Marauders is an absolute beast in this deck. By the midgame, it can easily be a 12+ power creature with trample. Its Encore ability also makes it a neat finisher.

  10. This is funny, I just designed a deck I called Mardu Combat! with Isshin as its commander. Mine is a lot less budget friendly, but pretty potent. I don't think you can put links in YouTube comments, but you can look it up on mtg goldfish as deck ID 4937528

  11. Lately I’ve been playing Volo, Guide to Monsters as my commander and it gets pretty nuts. He’s a B/G 4 mana commander so easy enough to get into play, and then copies creatures I play if I don’t have that creature type on the field or in the grave… so between unique creature types and exiles, it’s pretty consistent triggering his ability.

The other day I was playing and played Spark Double which let me copy Volo and the copy wasn’t legendary… well original Volo copied Spark Double, so I then had 3 Volos and anytime I played a creature type for the 1st time I got 4 copies of that creature lol

  12. Hammers of morradin are great but I would also stick greatsword of tyr, territorrial hammerskull and rhox veteran in there. Each have an attack trigger tap target creature effect, last of which also has battle cry and greatsword of tyr also gives a +1/+1 counters on attack

  13. Building a deck for him and I just realized if I'm not wrong. You can basically get infinite combat phases with lightning runner and the Myriad sword. Because it makes a copy of that creature attacking and if that is the case you would get 8 energy counters remove and just keep going lmao.

  14. So I noticed the New Capenna "Hideout" fetch lands are listed in the video but on the decklist.. is this and alternative to the gates possibly? Just wondering why they didn't make the final list
