  1. An American Christian , Britt Gillette , End Times Bible Prophesy channel , spoke of this singers 'prophetic' song yesterday .
Interesting you are covering it too. πŸ€”

  2. This brave man will be the first of many. The Lord seems to delight in using what the world and some of the church for that matter, deems as 'nobodys'. I believe that there are many 'nobodys' who will be revealed who will be true soldiers for Christ. Jesus IS this dark world's Light. Hallelujah.

  3. Amen I had no idea there was disapproval.
I go out on Saturdays and hand out tracts, looking to start conversations about Jesus, I've been told more than once or twice by church goers that I'm wrong in what I do.

I will be praying for this man, a profoundly good idea, thank you.

Praising and thanking God for you and your channel..a voice crying in the wilderness…

    Sounds prophetic to me.

  4. Thank you, Sir! I love your commentary. John the Baptist, too, was a simple man who had the courage to expose the immorality of Herod and called for REPENTANCE. I agree with everything you said about Oliver, he may be a prophet! I pray he stays pure and protected. Praying for Oliver, his family, all those struggling, the lost, and the blind πŸ™ JESUS, is the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE! May GOD bless you, Reverend Murphy, your family, ministry, and channel!

  5. David Scott of UKColumn played this on their news on Monday. Brilliant! I also like Johnny Cash. Been listening to 'The Man Comes Around' recently, what amazing lyrics. God bless you as you keep your eyes fixed on the author and perfector of our faith.

  6. Having grown up in rural Appalachia (pronounced Apple-at-cha. There's no -'sha sound.) I completely understand where this guy is coming from. He touches on Jeffersonian democracy and regionalism. Most people aren't picking up on the cultural nuances of what he's talking about.

  7. I’m unsure of you Brett. Are you a truly Bible believer or on a Romeward trajectory like Calvin (a misnamed individual) seems to be? Talk about truth and lies. The Romans are full of lies, criminality and idolatry, sorry but them’s the facts.

  8. Greetings from Richmond VA USA. The globalist gubment is busy destroying western civilization based upon the rule of law we inherited from GB. They have abandoned the natural law of God. It is time to RESIST them.

  9. I think you're right. I only knew in passing there was something going on about a Richmond thing, and I'm American (!), so I really appreciate your bringing this fully to my attention. How many times have I read Psalm 37 over the years with my underlining and highlighting, and yet when it was read by this fellow in conjunction with his song, the Holy Spirit gave me true consolation – and that meets the definition in first Corinthians 14:3 of the gift of prophecy. As is being strengthened (edification) to endure in hope, which I was. Thank you Brett, thank you Oliver Anthony, thank you Holy Spirit, thank you Jesus and thank you Abba that the time is coming when you will send your Son back to rule.

  12. Maybe we went soft. Song has long been a medium for social comment and protest. There was plenty of it about in the 60s and the folk tradition had plenty to say about social injustice and hardship. However to more important matters- is that a model of the Flying Scotsman on your desk?πŸ€”

  13. I hadn't heard the song so I looked it up. Raw and angry and genuine, and he's got a voice on him! Real worker's anthem that seems to be striking a chord with people across the world and across the political spectrum.

  14. I do think you are wrong to call Oliver Anthony a prophet. He has a creative talent which God can use to reach people but he does not have God's own words, which is what prophecy is. I think an awful lot of Christians are very confused about prophecy.
