This week on For The Love of Dogs, the staff at Battersea take some of the wonderful dogs on a day out to see some of Englands bravest war heroes. A lovely husky is trying to become a show dog, but his laziness might be his downfall.
Comedian Paul O’Grady follows the work of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, meeting some of the dogs there and the people who look after them.

The poor little poodle had me in tears. Even if his illness couldn't be cured, the previous owner shouldn't have dumped him at the side of the road. But I'm happy, that Honey and Marcel found a forever home. Every pet deserves a loving home.
🙏❤️🙏😢
So grateful to Marcel's new parents – he's an amazing pup!
I love this series with Paul O'Grady, he makes me laugh so hard but I also cry for some of the animals, sometimes it's a happy cry.
Sure would love to hug honey and Marcel . And sure would keep me healthy by giving them walks
Good ol carmine. Malamute needs hi protein lo carb.imo. Good jod Marcel!
That little poddle made me cry. When they had to put her down even though it was for for the best for her. But I'm glade marcle found a forever home he deserved it!
Paul I don’t know if you read these but there is a YouTube channel over there called Life With Malamutes. They have 3 Malamutes already and just moved to a larger home and property! Don’t know if they will want Honey but they have a large group of friends that have Malamute’s! So they may be able to help with placing Honey! She is a special breed and they take a special person or family to take them! You might want to get in touch with them and see if they can help place her?!? Just a thought that might help for her.
why wasn't the sweet baby given a chance! why! why! why!
Poor Marcel. Farting dogs are NOT natural. If they have digestive issues, something in their food makes them fart. Try food for sensitive dogs or even barfing, there you can control better which ingredients go into your dog. My rottweiler had the same issues with food containing chicory. That one made her fart so bad!
Slender animals and humans get illnesses
I have an Akita, Tull who shares that particular "musical talent". When you least expect it! Lol
