The mini series, the Pacific. fantastic ministries. I like it better than band of Brothers.
The problem was that the Japanese weren’t on Okinawa they were in it!
Ah, I love hearing Michael Carrol’s voice. I’m also glad that on this episode documenting the Battle for Okinawa, the last stand of the Japanese battleship Yamato (Operation Ten-Go) and the heroic stand of the destroyer USS Laffey (DD-724) are included.

Little disappointed they didnt include the story of Desmond Doss.
Also, it still astounds me that the Laffey took a level of punishment that had sunk battleships before, yet survived
