  1. The Lord of Host wants us to know Him, so we can walk with Him. To know Jesus is not the same as knowing His historical life. It is not the same as knowing correct doctrines regarding Him. It is not the same as knowing His moral example, and it is not the same as knowing His great work on our behalf. It's understanding Him to the degree that, by His grace, we can have an intimate/personal relationship with Him.

We must get to the level of understanding that, He is the refiner, who cleanses every spot of sin. He washed us in his precious blood, making the vilest of us clean. He clothes the naked culprit of sin, with a garment of righteousness. He clothe the heavily depressed with the garment of praise. He is a breaker of fetters, for He has set us free and continues to liberate, our souls, from sin's entanglements. That's how He wants us to know Him. He is the King superior to all kings and His kingdom endures forever. He reigns over sin. He subdues our enemies beneath his feet, and that's the person we need to know and worship. The great shepherd and caretaker. The door through which we must enter. The Way, the Truth and Life. He's our bread when we are hungry. The Water of Life. The I Am that I am. When we know Him as such, we can never walk away from His reckless love. Oh Lord, help us to know you, so we may walk with you😢! For what many of us know is religious and humanity, as a result, when the tough times come, when troubles come, when hardship comes, when offence comes… We walk away from you. Oh how we break your heart, because, we don't know you😭😭😭. We repent for our follies and sins dearest Abba. Have mercy I pray!
