  1. A senior news anchor should have pulled this younger news anchor off to the side before this broadcast. ( News anchor in the right hand section ).
    * Horrible to see her smiling; while discussing Lahiena, HI. *

    YOUNG NEWS ANCHOR: PLEASE STOP. Your probably doing this because your excited to be shown in public via a news chanel. You need some serious discernment skills. Worst event for the Hawaiian Islands; and you standing there with a big fat smile on your FACE. You look ridiculous. Bet you have a house to go home to tonight.

  2. Hey dumb young news anchor wearing the denim shirt: you can stop SMILING NOW. You're delivering the saddest news regarding a beloved Hawaiian Island. You should be fired by one of your superiors. I would have fired you immediately…!!

  3. There are no weather reports showing any hurricane level winds … only 30mph. WHY DO WE BLAME THIS ON WEATHER? This is total incompetence of the local government in a tragedy that could easily be prevented by basic planning/prevention and warning systems along with proper allocations for fire and emergency response. There are only 17 fire engines and 65 fire fighters for a population of 160,000 people! They have no off-road engines as needed in this type of terrain. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN A BIG MONEY TOURIST AREA where gov is filled with greedy for profit decision makers. They cut corners and safety for more profits. They refuse to require underground power lines. They refuse to put battery backup systems on cell towers and other communication equipment. They refuse to have portable cell towers on hand for events just like this! They could have had 2 extra temporary off-grid cell towers operating on ends of town when they got the HIGH RISK FIRE WARNING a couple days before this tragedy.

  4. We have to do better with climate change — we are running out of disaster relief funds, while we still burn nothing but fossil fuels!!!! Our lawmakers are so ignorant!!!! Hurricane season is coming…. the scientists called it code red for humanity years ago — still NO ACTION!!!!

  5. Judgment on the Earth

    24ย Behold, theย Lordย lays the earth waste, devastates it, twists its surface, and scatters its inhabitants.ย 2ย And the people will be like the priest, the servant like his master, the female servant like her mistress, the buyer like the seller, the lender like the borrower, theย creditor like the debtor.ย 3ย The earth will be completely laid waste and completely plundered, for theย Lordย has spoken this word.ย 4ย Theย earth dries upย andย crumbles away, the mainland dries outย andย crumbles away, theย exalted of the people of the earth dwindle.ย 5ย The earth is alsoย defiledย by its inhabitants, for they violated laws, altered statutes,ย andย broke the everlasting covenant.
    ย 6ย Therefore, aย curse devours the earth, and those who live on it suffer for their guilt. Therefore, theย inhabitants of the earth decrease in number, and few people are left.
    7ย Theย new wine mourns,
    The vine decays,
    All the joyful-hearted sigh.
    8ย Theย joy of tambourines ceases,
    The noise of revelers stops,
    The joy of the harp ceases.
    9ย They do not drink wine with song;
    Intoxicating drink isย bitter to those who drink it.
    10ย Theย city of chaos is broken down;
    Every house is shut up so that no one may enter.
    11ย There is anย outcry in the streets concerning the wine;
    All joyย turns to gloom.
    The joy of the earth is banished.
    12ย Desolation is left in the city
    And theย gate is battered to ruins.
    13ย Forย so it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples,
    As theย [c]shaking of an olive tree,
    As the gleanings when the grape harvest is over.

  6. And the Hawaiian Governor is already using rhetoric like the WEF uses. Build Back Better, and Climate Change. Perfect for building their 15 min cities. These fires were not natural and the fire department did not warn anyone or follow any typical protocols either. These people were allowed to die. Just like 911.

  7. Millions have been displaced in Sudan for months yet no one is speaking about that. Quick response to Hawaii, Ukraine , turkey after the quake but no celebrity or news advocating for Africans

  8. MSNBC, PBS, and other leftist "news outlets" are already blaming this tragedy on Donald Trump and/or climate change. This is how sick the left has become, turning every tragedy into a political talking point.

  9. Remember, these fires were started by US government employees; yet, they are not taking responsibility for their actions. If you shoot a gun and it accidentally kills someone, you go to jail, why then, are these people not held to the same standard? Imagine not using your 2nd amendment to stop this corruption…

  10. With just a single $20B payment that we send to Ukraine every month these people and this entire area could be made whole. Tells you where the priorities are. Slava Ukraine ๐Ÿ‘

  11. What a horrendous example of ineptitude….
    All emergency personnel should be fired along with the Governor
    Shame on you all for abandoning your duty
    Not one emergency vehicle in any video….
    Jump in the ocean with your family….good luck
    You are on your own
    Unspeakable

  12. I would put green paint on everything quickly, because if aliens see that we managed to burn even a tropical island in the middle of an ocean they might end this civilization because of hopeless stupidity.

  13. Is this a military strike by China, to show Joe who's really boss because of all the money they've gave to him and his family over the years? Joe said he was going to sign an executive order on China that might have been a little too far out of line for the brain-dead mushroom. More than likely it was just the incompetence of the Democrats running the state for the last century. Probably no qualified fireman or police officers to help get people out of harm's Way. That would definitely place this catastrophe blame on the people running that state.

  14. You'd expect something like this from Texas or Florida, but Hawaii. Thank you conservative hicks for continuing to support/contribute to the changes to the climate.

  15. The loss is so deep. What a devastating fire. Itโ€™s a loss of an important piece of history and heritage for a proud people. Of a home. Itโ€™s the loss of an identity. The loss of a loved one. Itโ€™s a loss that should not be discussed in terms of dollars and efforts, but in spirit and meaningful connection. Coming up from the ashes is work done from the heart. I pray that the Hawaiians have the support they each need to put meaningful structures and love back into place.

  16. Perhaps grifter Trump could send some money after all he claims make America great again. The 2 Billions Kushner received from the Saudis would help too. LOL will never happen for them to donate anything.

  17. PLANNED PSYOP! This was 10000% DEWs. I have first-hand experience with this tech from my time in the service, and there's no doubt about it! So-called "wild" fires are a BS narrative to cover up the fact that this is systematic annihilation by your own "governments".

  18. This fire hits really close to home for me. I never lived in Maui however I've been there a few times for vacation and it was a really beautiful place. In fact, the two times I went on vacation there were for a wedding and memorial. But now seeing the destruction caused by this devastating fire makes me really sad. My deepest prayers go out to everyone in Maui, Hawaii, and I hope everyone there gets the help they need.
