Officials call for caution after 83rd traffic death



Monday’s pedestrian death marks the 83rd fatality this year statewide. While that’s down slightly from last year, officials are urging caution, especially as we head into the holiday season.

  1. Hawaii police needs to sit by pedestrian crossings and hand out tickets, or nothing will change. We have flashing lights and a 20 mph zone in front of the library, and EVERY time 3 cars pass despite the lights flashing and pedestrians waiting!!!
