  1. Interesting thing about Lucius the eternal, you only become him if you felt pride in killing him. There are instances where someone will kill him and not feel pride because thats just how war is for them, but then Lucius will come back through a person who felt pride in making the weapon used to kill Lucius or something similar.

  2. What a great deck reveal. I'm watching them all and this one is so good. Great lore/mtg mechanics balamce in conversation for these awesome themed decks. The conversation bridges both mtg only players and warhammer 40k players together beautifully.

  3. I've only been betrayed by Chaos Warp once where I was fighting my friends token deck and he was beating me down pretty hard. He had a specific stronger unit beating through defenses, nothing lethal yet but getting close. I chaos warped that creature… into an End-Raze Forerunners and he killed me.

Either way still view it as a staple removal for all my red decks. Way too versatile.

  4. Degenerate here to weigh in on the power of The Lost and the Damned, it turns all your fetchlands into 3/3s as well so if you're a baller this is even better but just with only with budget options you get things like the slow fetches, evolving/terramorphic, myriad landscape

  5. SUBBED this deck reveal was truly refreshing and cozy it could have been 1 more hour and still would consume all of it! Ofc you talked about the mechanics, reprints and other Magic perspectives even tho the fact you read all the Flavor texts and had 2 well rounded Lore Connaisseurs I loved it.
Only reveal to care that much for the GW fans out there and not focusing about doing a quick fix reveal for MTG only players, even tho I have seen others making effort on the presentation/Lore! Unlike them who covers only the NEW cards and skip the reprints, you started with them as a good warmup before diving in the new cards.

Also, I WOULDN'T NOTICE the Space Marine corpses on BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! thanks uh-Ha!

  6. Apologies in advance:

Kharn was actually leader of the 8th company not the 1st. Kharn was also not considered to be an especially good duelist as he found it hard to fight properly outside the context of battle, he was decent but not the best. Sigismund of the Imperial Fists was generally considered to be the best fighter in single combat.

Be’lakor in 40k is similar to how he is in fantasy. He’s the first Daemon Prince and the greatest Daemon of chaos undivided. He is basically the daemonic equivalent to Abaddon. But Abaddon is still considered the greatest champion of chaos and the de facto leader of its armies

Also there is in fact a Mutalith Vortex Beast model. They are indeed quite large. They are used by the Thousand Sons exclusively in universe and on the tabletop.

  7. So this deck is what is going to get me into magic. And a question for you long time players do you think I will be able to do a decent death guard focused deck based on what is in here?
