  1. The kid was driving a stolen vehicle, and knew it was stolen. Ran from the cops the day prior in that same stolen vehicle, and then attempted to do it again. Did he deserve to get shot, no, but what he did deserve are parents, because he clearly doesn't have any.

  2. Bad seed kid, he was already evading cops earlier and then driving off when the same cop confronts him.
Let’s make all the criminals the victims, it seems to be the normal thing these days.
    Only in America!

  3. I don't get the cop's thinking: "His door touched me, that's assault, I get to do a mag dump!" WTF? You can't tell me that has nothing to do with how these idiots are selected and trained. Anyone else "defending themselves" with such sham justification would be in prison for years.

  4. Let me get this straight, a officer NOTICES a car in a involved incident (To his judgement is the correct car from the inccident) Proceeds to open the door with NO notice, and DEMAND they get out of the car and shots at them? NOW the kid gets charged with resisting and battery for this? How is that even fair at all ? Like how is that possible?

  5. This murderer cop needs to go to jail and face the other criminals in his pod. This was a kid, no warning, didn’t give a reason for illegally opening the scared kids door. That’s Texas for y’all parents!

  6. power tripping cop doesn't identify himself and scares this young man, kid (scared for his life) tries to leave, cop decides that eating a burger and leaving is a crime punishable by death, great police work!

Also cop a few days late: makes a reason why he try to kill the kid without giving a proper explanation

A few weeks later: COP IS GUILTY AND SENTENCED TO DEATH PENALTY

    Everyone: cheers

  8. This video doesn’t detail all currently known info. The cop identified the car as one that fled from him the day prior.
However, after the event, the police department released that he was wrong.
It was not the same vehicle or the same driver; just a kid in a car that looked similar.
In the body cam footage the cop calls in the license plate, but confronts the driver before getting the vehicle confirmation.
Nor was the initial disturbance call he was sent to the McDonald’s for, related to that vehicle.
It was just two 17 year olds sitting in a car.

I personally believe the kid probably thought he was getting attacked, since how he wasn’t related to any crime, and the officer didn’t identify himself before opening the door, and opened the door from behind the driver window out of view. He had his girlfriend in the passenger seat, so he probably reversed to get away, and didn’t realize it was a cop till too late.

The kid is currently in a coma and on life support. The officer is charged with 2 counts of aggravated assault, one for each person in the vehicle. All charges on the kid were dropped after the body cam footage was reviewed.
