Officer Fired After Accidentally Shooting Driver In the Leg

A driver was accidentally shot in the leg by a police officer during a traffic stop. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office released body camera footage of the incident that happened last month. The driver was pulled over for allegedly running a red light. While the officer was speaking to the driver, the driver stated he had a gun. The officer asked him to step out of the car, and that’s when the gun went off. Inside Edition Digital has the video.

  2. Ive been pulled over carrying my pistol numerous times and 90 percent of the cops or sheriff dont disarm me i tell them immediately im carrying a firearm and they say thank you for letting me know just don't reach towards it and thats that . But i have had a couple take my sidearm empty my magazine and put it in the bed of my truck and telk me to wait until they drive off to retrieve my pistol its annoying obviously if im telling you i have a firearm on me im not a threat to law enforcement. Infact id back up law enforcement if needed i do have military training !!!

  3. So when a cop has an accident there is instant response but when an imatate named Robert Brooks is beat to death while in custody the DOC officers that did it get to spend their lives as if nothing happened. When a 66 year man suffering from Dementia is aggressivelyd taken to the ground while at walmart and punched atleast 6 times again nothing happens.

Qualified Immunity needs to be abolished. If anyone without a badge did half of what cops do to people we'd be in jail as soon as they found us but yet they get to stand out in public as if nothing ever happened or they resign and oh look they get another job as an officer…..must be nice to have laws for We The People but not have to be held accountable as a member of law enforcement.

  4. WHY would she put her finger on the trigger? That is absolutely absurd.

that is Gun Safety 101 in any and all gun manuals. Keep your fingers off the gun trigger until period!!!

That was irrefutably a negligent discharge and the fact that she took it out of its holster proves she is untrained and absolutely unqualified to be a law enforcement officer she’s a danger to the public PERIOD!
