  1. the honeymoon story is craaazy. i don't think there should even be a debate about it. op is absolutely NOT the asshole and shouldn't even feel sorry for it. especially when their trip is an out of country family visit. who said that honeymoon is more important than that?

like, their co-worker should've planned better, they knew that they're gonna have a wedding, weddings are also preplanned months before so what's their deal. also, you can't ask someone something like that and not expect a no and then get angry because of that. nobody owes you nothing, especially your coworkers tf??

my friend postponed her honeymoon because of dates not working out for both of them, it's not such a big deal. makes me think that coworker's spouse had their vacation dates approved and ready, that's why they're so desperate and snappy but it on them to work that out.

  2. I absolutely agree that pressuring someone into a party is wrong, especially when it's such a specific theme. As well, maybe co-workers aren't always the best people to consider for such events.

That aside a funeral party sounds amazing, and I wish I had thought of something like that when I came out of rehab (in the coffin with my can of Pepsi Max), or came out as a lesbian for example. A way celebrating life, as well as the symbolic farewell to the vice of alcohol, or the mask I hid behind before coming out.

  3. Ya I’m not cancelling or changing my vacation plans for someone else. A honeymoon is literally a vacation and can be planned accordingly… like the following week. That’s not my problem and honestly it’s not even the companies problem either. It sounds like they have fair rules of first come first serve for holidays, so why should the expectation be that the company adjust their holiday protocols just for someone’s vacation? Sounds like the employees are made away of their policies and the lady just forgot. I’m a first responder of ten years and don’t get to book a holiday without ensuring there are available days on our calendar. Now I work an office job and on a team of four and there has to be two of us in the office at all times… I arranged a trip to Aruba the week after my coworkers trip to Mexico. Because we are adults who understand our employers policy. This is not a hard concept to understand and respect.

  4. 1:03:10 SAM,

THE FIRST NIGHT AT BED WHEN YOU LEFT, RON MADE OUT WIITH 2 GIRLS AND PUT HIS HEAD INBETWEEN A COCKTAIL WAITRESSES BREASTS. ALSO WAS GRINDING WITH MULTIPLE FAT WOMEN.

WHEN YOU LEFT CRYING AT KLUTCH, RON WAS HOLDING HANDS AND DANCING WITH A FEMALE AND TOOK DOWN HER NUMBER.

MULTIPLE PEOPLE IN THE HOUSE KNOW, THEREFORE YOU SHOULD KNOW THE TRUTH. USE THIS INFORMATION WISELY.

  5. My co-worker is completely normal

Amazing that people can't comprehend somehow living life unplugged and healthy. I'm sure that person experiences anxiety and negative feelings, but they've learned to accept them and deal with them rather than forming an identify around it

  6. I could never work in an office setting where meowing at a coworker would mean I got the cold shoulder from everyone else. If a random coworker meowed at me, I'd be like "Oh, are we bonding? Are we friends now?" And I'd 100% meow back.

Also whoever left catnip on their desk is hilarious, honestly. I'd laugh so hard if someone did that to me (but I also don't work with assholes so it would be intended as a funny joke and not as some weird middle school bullying tactic).

Side note, but I LOVE Ask a Manager. It's a fantastic site and I highly recommend it!
