  1. I’m 35. I’ll be 43 when it ends, if that’s the case. Started reading One Piece in 2008 which means I’d have read this amazing story for 24 years. Surreal. Hope I’m alive to finish it. It’s been a crazy ride, nakama!

  2. You where really right an I agree with you on that being a kingdom arc. But I def need to see how he evolves the Strawhats esp Usopp cause aint no way he can rush that with the weak 3.

  3. I think 2032 is a conservative number, based on a conservative amount of chapters and the retainment of the current publishing pace.

We have just shy over 10 chapters more for the remainder of 2024. Let's be conservative and say we end the year at chapter 1232. With the current publishing rate, if we say it ends at the end of 2023 that would leave around 250 chapters for the rest of the story.

Say we give 90 for Elbaf – cause I too think they will be needed – and you have around 160 left. It fits with the pattern. Be it 2 arcs of 80 chapters ore one big arc to tackle Laugh Tale and the Final War.

But, it does not account for 2 things: 1) An epilogue. 2) Oda's initial statement that there would be a small arc leading up to the Final War. This can't be Elbaf cause Elbaf needs to be big (pun intended).

Now, we are 100% getting an epilogue. And it will not be part of the arc that gives the actual ending. Because the Final Saga is New World's parallel to the Summit War saga – which got its own dedicated, albeit small, epilogue arc. Small in comparison to his publishing rate then, as it was 17 chapters.

What I am uncertain about whether we will get or not, is the connecting arc between Elbaf and Final War. Mainly due to Oda being the best at proving Oda wrong. For all we know it may be conflated with Elbaf, skipped entirely, or any other amount of yet-secret-options.

But we will 100% get at least 1.5 to 2 dozen chapters to conclude the story after the events of Laugh Tale. If we keep the same pace, that puts us close to mid to late 2033. Make it late 2034, if there is a connecting arc.

  4. 2032? Why? That's so completely random. I am certain he hasn't got enough storyline in mind to keep it up until then, he just wants to keep this money train going.

The guy doesn't know how to end a project. I'm so glad I never got into this anime, it's more of a neverending soap opera than an actual interesting adventure with a beginning and end. The guy's milking it for all its worth and I don't respect that.

Honestly, you're all wasting your time continuing to read this manga because he's not going to end it. It'll be around as long as him, without an ending of any kind.

  5. The first arc is 100 chapters the second is like 114 the third is like 75 the fourth is whatever, there are 30 chapter arcs and 140 chapter arc and all sorts of measurements but for some reason you lump a bunch of Arc in to pairs and round a bunch of numbers acting like there is a natural or planned pattern here when you had to fudge SO much to make these numbers work. This is what I call stupid. Not even joking. Not even just trying to be mean or anything, this is stupid conspiracy level dumb. This is so forced because all the numbers are off but people are pretending they are not.

  6. Here's the thing. It toom about 400 for second amd third gear, 300 more for gear 4, 300 more aka 1,000 fpr gear fifth.

Going by that same consistently, ever since the final saga announcement, I'm guess it'll between between 1,300 to 1,500, my guess leaning more toward 1,300 of course, assuming gear fifth being Luffy peak was indeed correct.

So you're probably right, lol 😂

  7. If One Piece ends with chapter 1350, (the current released chapter is 1122 as of 13th August, 2024). Oda releases an average of 35 chapters per year. Going by that, anyone can run a simple calculation and would get that one piece ends in next 6 years (somewhere in 2030). Either it's not 6 years or One piece doesn't end with 1350 as there are so many arcs that One piece has to make and some of them can even be as big as Wano.

  8. Let's not forget that Oda is 49 yo and the average lifespan of a mangaka is 62 yo according to recent report. The saying "don't die before One Piece ends" applies to him even more so than us.

  9. it will end either when oda passes or cant draw anymore, or when the money stops coming in. Even if Oda does want to "end" OP, the IP has taken on a will of its own and i cant imagine anyone willing to let that cash cow go, so im sure OP would get a "boruto" treatment. Whether its the characters kids, or some other story in the OP world, its not ending until its impossible to keep being made.
