  1. Had to laugh when you commented about not being a cat person! I'm really not either, but for some reason have stitched almost exclusively black cat designs for Halloween this year. My joy this week was my husband's carpal tunnel surgery recovery – his doc thought he might be some permanent damage, but one day this week he had no numbness and tingling for the first time in years. So joyful to think that he might make a full recovery! Thanks for another fun floss tube video.

  2. You are always a bright spot in my day (whatever day I get to watch you)!! Not sure what all is going on – but I do understand that feeling when medical issues cause life to go in a very direction in a blink of an eye. Chosing JOY is something I do every morning, even if I didn't sleep well. I get joy from our dogs – especially the 120 lb puppy who is a great big goofball!!

  3. 😅we’ve had full custody of our granddaughter since she was born almost 2 years. Despite our ages and the challenge of starting over again by raising a child, we’ve decided to adopt her. Because she gives us so much joy everyday. We both have health issues, but have also decided to keep our health in check for our granddaughter, we’re going to have to be able to take care of her into our 70’s. Your flosstubes brings much inspiration! Have a great day and happy stitching!

  4. YOU…You bring me joy. You make me laugh, and I need to laugh more, so thank you!! I know your heart is heavy yet it’s full, and even when you’re struggling you find a way to push yourself to be present – putting others first. I love that you make Jesus No. 1 in your FlossTube ♥️. I hope to one day get to meet you. I’m in St. Petersburg so not too far away. Maybe at a retreat one day. I will be praying for you and your family.

  5. My joy this week was going to Newport RI on a business trip with my husband. Before taking me to Newport, he decided to buy plane tickets and took me home to New Bedford MA and visit my family. I had not seen my family for 15 years and this was the perfect opportunity. JOY!😊

Dear Alicia…I only saw you from your mouth or nose up. Please adjust your camera next flosstube so I can see your beautiful face!!!

  9. Alicia! Loved seeing you and catching up on your flosstube. Sending prayers for you and your son. I hope you start sleeping well. The thing that brought me joy this week was going to a gluten free expo with my hubby and finding new tasty things I can eat. ❤

  10. I added joy to my week already as a neighborhood friend is coming over for lunch today. I've made and frozen pesto made from the last of the year's basil. We're going to have salads with some of the pesto left unfrozen, the last of the cherry tomatoes, ham, mozzarella, etc.

  11. If you just take a moment to think on it, Joy happens all the time. Spending time with my 92 year old Dad, putting together a puzzle; traveling with my sister and solving the problems of the world; going to my once-a-month stitching group and getting starbucks for breakfast and chick-fil-a for dinner, my special day. Continue to Choose Joy even though there are tough days.

  12. It was great to spend time with you again. My joy came from decorating pots to look like jack o lanterns with my family to house our new mums. We call them mumkins, and I love them. I believe shut the front door is from the Orbitz gum commercials. Dirty mouth, clean it up! You're making great progress on your current stitches as well as planning our your 24 in 24. That's pretty impressive to me.

  13. My joy this past week is we finally got relief from 100 degree temps just in time for the start of the soccer season for 3 of my grandkids. It was wonderful to go to their games with such beautiful weather!
