Monitors and laptops on desks in abandoned bases give you electronics. Sometimes it’s awkward positioning yourself to grind them but it’s worth it early on as there are scant resources to make them. Kneeling sometimes helps. Also if you see anything that looks like an anglepoise lamp on a desk they give you glass plates, another rare resource.
